(56) Graduation

"Let's call Ms. Lyke Faith Millara as our valedictorian for this year, may we heard your speech for us?"

Ngunit walang umakyat sa stage bagkus nagplay ang isang projector.

"Good day principal, teachers, parents, and to my fellow students. Here we are on our dream graduation day. Grabe parang first day of school lang natin noon tapos ngayon graduate na tayo!"

Nagtaka man ang lahat, ngunit minabuti na lang nilang makinig.

"Here I am para magbigay ng speech, but let me tell you a story first.."

Huminto ito sa pagsasalita kasabay ng bulong-bulungan ng mga tao sa paligid.

"There's this girl na popular, a happy person, mahal ng magulang, maraming kaibigan, teacher's favorite, nasa kanya na ang lahat but it's all fake. They're just using her–all the time. She's popular but she doesn't want fame. Mahal siya ng magulang niya kapag may mga nakatingin, but pag wala lagi nila siyang inaabuso, they hurting her not just in words but in physical aspect. Yes marami siyang kaibigan kapag sila ang nangangailangan, they just remembered her when; "How to solve this?, Do you have assignments?, Can you do this for our group please?," So yeah marami nga siyang kaibigan. One thing, teacher favorite also known as teacher's pet, she just followed her teachers request, she just can't say no for her grades.."

Naguguluhan na ang marami, it's supposed a thank you speech dapat, pero story telling ang nangyayari.

"One day, ginabi na siya sa pag-uwi dahil tinapos niya ang checking ng test paper nila. The principal saw her na nagliligpit ng gamit, nilapitan siya nito at sa 'di inaasahang pangyayari, she was pressured on something she doesn't wanted to do..

The principal wants her to strip and pleasure him–he wanted her body; to have sexual intercourse with him. She doesn't want to but for the sake of the scholarship, ginawa niya para 'di ito mawala sa kanya. Feeling niya ang dumi na niya no'ng araw niya na 'yon, but hindi pa pala matatapos ang kalbaryo niya.

May apat na lalaki na schoolmates niya, saksi sa panghaharas sa kanya ng principal nila, she wanted to thank them dahil may witnessed na siya sa irereklamo niya. At first all she know is kakampi niya ang apat na 'yon but she all wronged.
They offer her to go with them, para ayusin ang sarili at ihanda sana ang sarili sa testimonyang sasabihin sa mga pulis. Ngunit sila pa pala ang susunod na aabuso sa kanya, they take her condition as their advantage–they raped her all over again.

As she got home late, her parents shouted at her. Gusto niyang magsumbong sa mga ito, pero hindi na niya naituloy dahil lumapat na ang kamay ng kanyang ina sa pisngi niya.

By the way it's not the principal who took her virginity, it's her father, used her every night as he please.

She cried every night, and smile to you everyday. She continue to live even her life really sucks. She survived her abusive environment. She's a graduating student like you–she's a valedictorian. She's no other than me.. Look up the sky, she reached her goals to finally graduate this so called life."

Nagulat na lang ang lahat sa narinig nilang sigaw na, "Happy graduation to all!" Pero mas ikinagulat ng lahat ang bumagsak na katawan–their valedictorian.
