We suit up, though they advised me against it I still got ready. I grabbed a new suit that Maria designed herself a couple of months ago. It's a turtleneck tank dress, a short front and long back skirt. The dress fades from pure white in the front to the back resembling a lacy cape. A diamond cuts out where the cleavage is supposed to be seen. I admit it's a lot cuter than my other plain spy look. This seems too elegant for me, but maybe with my newish powers it fits me more? It's even sexier than the first one. Which is a total shock since I thought even that was too much skin. Put on a brave face, it's ok. Gotta be the new me! Stand tall. I glide out with my white boots clicking until I stumble into a figure in the hallway.

"Oh I'm so sorry." I apologize quickly and then see the red white and blue costume before me. I already am flustered. Just seeing him, dirty blonde hair. It looks perfectly cut, like he just got it done.

"Izzy wow." Steve clears his throat embarrassed slightly and then returns serious, "Ready for combat?"

"I definitely am." I make a tight fist and grin.

Steve doesn't hesitate to show his concern, "Are you positive you recovered enough?"

"I gotta fight my fight." I shrug, "I'll nap after." I give a quirky wink.

"Let me know if you need a breather." Steve pushes some loose hairs behind my ear and I blush.

"I need a breather." I joke feeling flush at his touch. His presence. His existence.

He laughs shyly but still surprises me with bravery, "I also know CPR if that helps."

"Pucker up Shortie!" Tony cackles behind us, "You both are blocking the hallway!"

We move out of the way turning red, "We were just talking." I stammer.

"I'm not gonna ask." Tony winks as he passes, the metal of his suit thudding against the ground, "But Nat does owe me $35. Who knew I'd actually be right!"

I threaten to kill him and he runs off laughing, "He really knows how to push a girls buttons"

"One of his many flaws." Steve agrees with a smile.

"Oh please, you love him." I chuckle.

"Yeah, I do." He shrugs a little with a kind grin appearing on his face. I admire his features as he softens at the thought of his friends.

"Why call us the love birds. You and Tony are much more compatible." I smirk and he rolls his eyes playfully.

"I'm not complaining." Steve replies, "But I will complain about Tony and I being love birds."

We both laugh as we stroll to the meeting area, talking about casual conversation for a change, "After this we should get coffee."

Steve blushes at my offer, "Coffee. Yeah, we never really got around to that."

"We should. I think we've earned it." I meet his gaze confidently before we enter the transportation.

"Been long enough, right?" Steve agrees, "It's a date."
