104. Inevetiable

"Danvers, we need an assist here." Steve says after the cheering.

With that Carol Danvers lands near Peter who is weirdly hugging the gauntlet, "Hi. I'm– Peter Parker."

"Hey, Peter Parker. You got something for me?" Carol greets and I wince getting up.

"I don't know how you're gonna get it through all that." He says handing her the gauntlet after standing. Wanda arrives suddenly as I stand. Along with a couple others.

"Don't worry." Wanda tells Peter.

"She's got help." Okoye joins and we all begin to lung toward the Outriders, Sakaarans and Chitauri. A green lady takes out a large alien, while Okoye battles Corvus Glaive. I follow forward as Carol is flying toward the van. I get ahead of the other women and land before sending out a wave of water. I recalled the pounding waves Doctor Strange had been holding and carried some over to me. Sending the lake against the enemy. Carol flies above the impactful water toward the van but Thanos's double sword flew at the portal, destroying it and the quantum realm tunnel. I curse trying to control the waters, blood running down my nose. I wipe it away and it turns to air. I weakly kneel watching as Steve and Tony fought against Thanos who is close to getting the gauntlet. Carol returns and gets the upper hand. Wincing I turn my back to them.

"Help!" Rocket roars defending Groot. I scan the area as Valkyrie is thrown off her horse. Bucky pleads for Sam to grab him and pull him to the sky. Wanda kicks and throws her red energy to help the friends around her. I growl and use my magic to grasp more of Strange's whirlpool to wash away the enemy attacking the women fighting behind me. I grew dizzy enough to close my eyes, begging the water to only hit the enemy. I flush out the rest of the army and blast water to get the feistier ones on their knees. I felt thunder rumble in me, and I send a hail of icicles to stab the bodies of Thanos's army. When they scream and claw at their wounds I send the wind against the icicles to puncher them further into the aliens. Holding my hands out I yell giving away my remaining power. My other knee dropped out of exhaustion and I used my last drops of energy to face Thanos.

"I am... inevitable." Thanos grins as he snaps his fingers. The clink is heard from miles, as silence claimed the area. It was the only sound, the defeat of the snap. Thanos adjusts his hand to see the gauntlet doesn't possess the stones. Turning to face Tony who has the stones on his own gauntlet. The radiation coursing through his human body, he still kneels with pride. Tony can handle the power for moments which is insane enough. He takes a moment and when he's ready the words come with ease.

"And I... am... Iron Man." Tony snaps his fingers loudly and a blinding flash of white blinds us. I'm smiling as the pressure of power pushes me back. Ash whispers in the wind around me. Its weeping for the last few moments until it's dead silent. I feel the victory as I force myself up. My eyes view the deteriorating villains. Thanos sitting in defeat till his body turns to little pieces of crumbs. His face, the last to go. I don't have the power to add pressure to my wound so I rip off my top and strap the leather against my side. Grunting as the pressure helps I turn weakly to the surrounding people. I limp over slowly, only hearing whimpers.

"Mr. Stark?" I get closer as Peter sobs, "Hey. Mr. Stark? Can you hear me? It's Peter. Hey. We won, Mr. Stark- We won, Mr. Stark. We won. You did it, sir. You did it."

When I arrive at Steve's side tears are filling his eyes, "Steve what's going on..."

"I'm sorry..." Peter hiccups after a hug, "Tony..."

Pepper delicately brings him away and faces her husband, "Hey."

"Hey, Pep..." Tony can not speak, can't move. I choke on my own tears as I see his burnt skin. Pepper rests  her palm on Tony's Arc Reactor and Tony rests his hand on hers. He's in bad shape, every breath prolonged and pained.
