(f/s/f) = favourite sandwich filling

(I know it's weirdly specific)

Gianni waited patiently atop the roof of the school. He had made sure he was early for lunch so (Y/n) wouldn't have to wait on him.

It frustrated some of his teachers when that week he would be running out of the door as soon as the bell went, sometimes excusing himself a few minutes before.

He always packed food he knew she liked with him. Even though she had her own lunch, he loved the few occasions where (Y/n) had asked to try some of his food and sharing some of her's with his.

The fact that they didn't have quite the same tastes didn't matter to him. Gianni could be eating his least favourite food but if on the off chance (Y/n) would want a taste, it would be more than worth it.

"Did you get let out of class early again?" (Y/n) said as she arrived on the roof only to see that yet again, Gianni had arrived before her.

"Something like that." He replied vaguely. "How were your lessons?"

"Normal, I guess."

"What did you do?" He followed up on his last question.

"Got taught stuff? Nothing out of the ordinary." (Y/n) took her usual spot beside Gianni. He'd been weirdly inquisitive lately. "What have you got?"

"A (f/s/f) sandwich." He revealed the girl's favourite sandwich and watched her eyes go wide.

"Lucky, I just brought in some cold leftovers." She said enviously.

"You can have some of mine if you want." Gianni tried to seem casual but he was inwardly sqealing.

"Don't worry, I don't want to steal your food." She dismissed him.

"It's really not a problem." He said, lifting the sandwich towards her.

(Y/n) contemplated having a small bit but ultimately turned him down again.

Gianni pouted as he took a bite of it, hoping that (Y/n) would change her mind part way through lunch.

"Are you busy this weekend?" He asked after his mouthful.

"I'm seeing my dad again." (Y/n) huffed in annoyance, Felix had been getting on her nerves as of late and she'd been dreaming of him more and more.

"Is that gonna take all weekend?" Gianni was determined to at least get a moment with (Y/n) before Monday, he didn't think he'd last an entire two days without her.

"He likes to do this thing where he tells me at the last minute when he wants me to come over. So I've got to clear out my entire weekend for about twenty minutes with him. It's a pain in the ass."

Gianni felt a flash of anger towards (Y/n)'s father. Not only was he taking up (Y/n)'s time but he made her put in all the effort to see him.

"Why do you have to see him. You don't exactly seem crazy about the guy." He attempted to coax (Y/n) away from her father, more and more people in her life were proving to be negative influences who would only hurt her.

"He's my dad... I love him." (Y/n) admitted reluctantly.

Gianni nodded to himself and opened his mouth to ask another question but (Y/n) spoke up before him.

"I feel like we always talk about me and my life. Can we talk about something else?" She requested.

He was taken aback by what she was saying, granted he understood where she was coming from but he was only trying to get to know her as much as possible. "It's not my fault you're so interesting."
