Horu couldn't see where Nyx was but her voice was still as clear as day.

The air reeked of intestines and blood.

Horu felt a surge of gastric juice running up his throat. He couldn't move a muscle in his body, so feeling it going up his throat was torture.

"Hand him over and I won't kill you on the spot. I know where you're hiding."

The flashlight of one of the guns on the floor shone like a spotlight at the woman named Himeko.

She has huge boobs!

Horu couldn't help but stare at her holy bust size.

Himeko Itami.

She wore a military cap and a white crop top that showed quite the abundance of cleavage. She resembled a certain fighter general from Texas.

The commander vanished from her position. Her body emitted a luminous aura that was bright enough to light up the entire room.

Horu couldn't move; he was forced to watch the corpses of the slaughtered soldiers.

Aren't these her men? Why is she just standing there like nothing is going on!

Behind him took a fierce battle place that involved someone who did not care about the lives of mere foot soldiers.

Himeko sped to the darkest corner of the room.

This will be a piece of cake.

Any spectator that wasn't Horu would only see a sparkle of light teleporting across the room.

Himeko drew her sword and swung it in the darkness. Her aura itself already lit up the entire room, so aiming at the only dark spot in the room would've been the best way to go at it.

But she made a huge mistake.

Nyx appeared right behind Himeko. She grabbed Himeko's head and smashed it into the floor.

However, that didn't damage her one bit.

Himeko recovered right after and swung her sword 180 degrees, yet her target turned into a black liquid, causing her to miss.

"What?!"

Himeko came to a halt as her opponent vanished without a trace. The room was yet again, saturated with darkness.

"Ahahahahahaha! I'll warn you, commander."

Nyx's presence had disappeared, but her voice sounded  through the room like a speaker.

"Don't you understand the dire situation that you've caught yourself in?"

She sounded more unserious than before. She enjoyed this like some isekai protagonist who got a taste of his overpowered capabilities.

"Shut up."

Himeko's voice was cold-blooded.

It seems like this would be more of a hassle than I thought.

Himeko already knew that fighting Nyx was pointless. But she had to complete her mission.

"Let me remind you of my power, dear Himeko. Your weak Light magic won't work on a deity of my caliber. So learn some manners, you—!"

A huge crack sounded all of a sudden. It seemed that the floor around Himeko's feet was the culprit. The small particles started floating around her.

What stood out the most was her aura.

She sheathed the massive sword on her back but still held it firmly with her left arm. Her expression was hidden beneath her bangs.
