Chapter 18: It's a Date

"Haaaaaaaaaaaah!!"

A girl the size of a 12-year old ran across one side of the room to the other. She dashed to her enemy, Horu Sakaki. She cocked a massive greatsword behind her that was the size of her own body. You may say that this was a truly terrifying sight. Nonetheless, Horu didn't get fazed by her. He just stood there and stared her down with empty eyes.

"Celestial Slash."

Attacks of compressed gravity neared Ella as she charged towards him. However, she easily swerved from the slashes and closed the distance between them even more.

"Gravity Cancel."

Suddenly, Ella weightlessly floated in the air. Despite being immobilized, she didn't give up. She chose a brilliant plan for against this opponent.

"Blinding Light!"

A blinding flash covered the room for a second, giving Ella the chance to recuperate. She threw her greatsword at Horu. Unfortunately for her, Horu had temporarily lost his sanity, using his sixth sense to make a move.

"Weightless."

He withdrew his gravity skill and dodged by jumping into the air. As he did, he grabbed the hilt of the flying greatsword and smashed Ella away with the flat side.

"Ella!"

The girl that Ella partnered up with prayed for her safety. But she didn't have to do so any longer as Ella got right up. She tanked both the impact and the aftermath of the blow. In the meantime, Horu canceled both zero-gravity skills to even it out.

"Never thought you'd go for the sword. That's so hot!" She yelled with full excitement as she summoned the blade back to her hands whilst Horu still had it gripped. He flew along with the sword that magically made its way to its wielder. Horu couldn't release the greatsword as it was traveling at an intense speed. The moment the sword got close to Ella, it stopped flying. She did something that Horu didn't expect in any way to happen...

The girl jumped a few feet up in the air, spun a front flip whilst increasing the momentum with her right leg. When the time was right and Horu was just beneath her, she dealt a devastating blow by kicking him into the ground. The impact left the ground around Horu cracked up.

"There's a big difference between our combat experience."

Ella limply walked towards the great sword, grabbed it, and then walked up to Horu. She stretched the sword with one arm at the boy who had his entire body dug into the ground, indicating that it was time to surrender so that the entrance to the next floor would appear. However...

"Ella, help me! I'm...getting..."

"W-what?!"

Ella turned around just to see her partner getting pulverized by what looked like a small version of a black hole, however, this 'black hole' didn't suck matter in. Instead, it destroyed everything in its wake.

"Hoh hoh hoh hoh!"

Muffled sounds came from Horu. It seemed that he was attempting to laugh whilst having his face carved into the ground, which was made from solid material. Ella looked in surprise at how he limply got up from his sorry position. It seemed that he hadn't lost the fight just yet.

"Before you spectacularly kicked me face-first into the ground, I had already planned to kill your friend over there." Horu pointed at the girl who was slowly getting incinerated by the Orb of Destruction that he cast.
