We continue on through the forest and Gandalf smiles "A thing is about to happen that has not happened since the Elder Days. The Ents are going to wake up, and find that they are strong." Gimli nods "Strong? Thats good." Gandalf smiles "Merry and Pippen are quite safe infact they are far safer than you are about to be." Gimli grumbles to himself and we continue on to the edge of the forest where are horses are still standing patiently.
I smile and Skylar sits by my side as Gandalf begins to whistle "What is he doing?" I smile "Calling a friend." From our left comes the sound of a horse braying. I smile and watch a beautiful white horse ride towards us. Legolas stands next to me and smiles "That is one of the Meras unless my eyes are cheated by some spell." I smile "He's real." Gandalf smiles "Shadowfax. He is the lord of all horses and has been my friend through many dangers.
We mount our horses and Skylar flies above us. We ride towards Edoras as fast as the horses can ride. As night falls we stop and make camp for the night. Skylar yawns and slumps on the ground falling asleep almost instantly. I sit by the fire and eat a little Lembas before taking out one of my daggers and starting to sharpen it. Legolas sits next to me and smiles slightly "Are you alright?" I nod "Shocked I suppose." he nods and I turn to watch Gandalf talking to Aragorn "I thought I had lost him forever and now he has returned." he smiles "I believe we are all shocked."
I smile and watch as smoke rises from Skylar's nose. "Have you been to Edoras before?" I smile "Once but it was a while away and I did not stay long it was only to buy food." he nods and I yawn. I lay back on the ground and he smiles slightly "Sleep well princess." I smile but am to tired to retaliate, I close my eyes and fall asleep.
The next morning we are up and riding just as the sun is rising. Skylar fly's ahead slightly circling back every so often. In the distance the town of Edoras comes into view Skylar stay close, we do not know who can be trusted. She fly's back towards us and hovers above me as we ride closer.
