Proposal

Your P/O/V:

I walk around Mirkwood confused, where has Legolas got to? I walk over to one of the guards "Have you seen Legolas any where?" he smiles slightly "I believe he is the gardens." I nod "Thank you." I walk into the gardens looking around for any sign of Legolas. Stopping I spin around in a circle before putting my hands on my hips. A hand goes over my eyes and I yelp in shock swinging my fist back only to be stopped by someone "Its just me. I did not mean to startle you." I sigh "Why is your hand over my eyes?" his lips brush over my ear causing me to shiver "I have something I would like to show you."

I smile slightly "Legolas what are you hiding?" he nudges me forward "Nothing my love, well not for much longer any way." I giggle slightly and allow him to lead me forward taking his free hand in mine "Where are we going?" I don't get a reply but decided not to ask again staying quite. We stop walking "Keep you eyes closed." I do as told and he steps away "Alright you can open them." 

I open my eyes and look around in awe. We are under a woven arch with flowers all around us. The moonlight is streaming down through the tree branches illuminating the small space. I spin around slowly taking it all in "Legolas this place is beautiful." he smiles softly and gently takes my hands in his before getting down on one knee. Causing shock and something else to flutter through my chest.

"Y/N L/N when you first walked into my life I thought you where the most beautiful person I have ever met. You turned out to be this kind, thoughtful, incredible warrior princess who I fell in love with. I cannot imagine life without you and if you will have me I would like to spend the rest of my life making you happy." he holds out a beautifully crafted ring and I feel my eyes widen"Will you marry me?"

Staring at him I let his words sink in before a large smile breaks across my face and I manage to nod while I fight the tears threatening to fall down my face. Finding my voice I nod the tears spilling over"Yes, yes. A thousand times yes." he stands slipping the ring onto my finger smiling brighter than ever and gently brushes the tears of my cheeks before wrapping his arms around my waist "I love you so much." I wrap my arms around his neck sniffling slightly "I love you too." I run my fingers through his hair kissing him gently "We're getting married?" he nods kissing me again "Yes we are." he picks me up twirling around and I lean down kissing him deeply. "I love you Legolas Greenleaf."

After a moment he places me back on the ground "Should we head back inside?" I nod running my fingers through his hair once more pressing a final kiss to his lips before going to step away. I am stopped by an arm looping under my legs and pulling me up into his arms "You don't have to walk love." I giggle and lean my head on his chest "I am perfectly capable of walking." he shrugs and continues walking pushing open his bedroom door with his hips before placing me gently down on the bed.

I reach up pulling him down on top of me while wrapping my legs around his waist pressing kisses to his cheek then his lips "I love you." he chuckles "I hope so, you just agreed to spend the rest of your life with me." I glare at him slightly before kissing him once more pulling him closer to deepen the kiss...
