You awoke to two arms around your ribcage, hugging you tightly. You reached down and interlocked your fingers with a set that dug into your skin. You slowly rolled over into the chest of the boy next to you. You nestled your face into his chest, embracing the warmth radiating off of him.

You pulled your face away to look up at the face of your boyfriend Jonathan. He was still fast asleep, snoring softly. When you reached up to push his hair out of his face, he groaned.

"Sorry to wake you," you said softly when he opened his eyes.

"It's no big deal." He gave you a soft smile. "I like waking up to your face."

"Dork," you chuckled, pulling him into a gentle kiss.

"Do you work today?"

"No. Tomorrow."

"Mm."

"You have any good dreams last night?" Jonathan was usually the one to ask this question, but you liked to know what went on in his mind sometimes.

"Eh, not really. You?"

"Nope." You both just looked at each other for a moment. "I love you," you said quietly.

He smiled. "I love you, too."

You moved his hand to your hip as you pulled him in for a kiss. He gently squeezed your skin under his hand as he pulled your waist closer to his.

Jonathan had always been awkward when it came to sex. You guys had done it a few times, but he usually let you take control and do what you wanted.

As much as you wanted him to dominate you every once in a while, you thought his awkwardness was cute.

It was innocent, and innocence was something Hawkins needed more of.

You both had been through so much in the last few years that it seemed like all good and innocence had just left the town completely.

That was, in fact, until you and Jonathan started officially dating. He had never been in a serious relationship before, and you hadn't either.

Your dates usually consisted of going to the local drive-in restaurant, getting cheeseburgers and strawberry milkshakes and then going to a movie. It was as wholesome as you could get.

His relationships with Will and Joyce also helped you forget everything that happened for a little while. Jonathan was always protective of Will, but that turned extreme after he came back from the Upside Down.

For over a year after Will came back, Jonathan was always with him. You guys had already been friends for a while at that point, and you kind of missed one-on-one time with Jonathan. But you liked Will, and Will liked you, so you didn't mind much.

When you felt lips on your neck, you pulled him on top of you and wrapped your legs around the backs of his thighs.

"Jon," you whispered.

"Yeah?" He pulled away and looked at you.

"Why don't we try something new?"

"Um... okay. What?"

"I want you to be the dominant one this time."

He furrowed his brows. "Are you sure?" You nodded.

"Yes."

He smirked. "Alright." You kissed him deeply before he pulled away. "Aren't you worried about Will walking in?"
