(Y/N): I don't know why I gave up.

He was laying on a couch and next to him is a person writing on a clipboard.

Psychologist: Do you think it's because of Team flare? Or the fact that you wanted to protect your Pokemon and ended up almost losing your hand.

(Y/N) looked at his casted hand and smirked.

(Y/N): So are we done here?

Psychologist: Yes but first, you need take this medication if the hand hurts again.

He gave him a bottle of pills and (Y/N) left the office where his mom is waiting for him at the waiting room.

Mom: How was it?

(Y/N): Boring but I got these pills.

Mom: Let me take them so you don't take to much.

They left and headed home. (Y/N) greeted the Fletchling and the Leafeon in the living room.

(Y/N): Have you two been fighting again?

He petted both of them and went upstairs, where Maggie is in his room. She was sleeping on his bed while on one hand is a book and the other is her glasses. (Y/N) quietly snuck up and spooked her, causing her to fall off the bed and onto the floor.

Maggie: Brai!

(Y/N) was laughing and he was pulled down on the floor with her and now they was chucking on each other.

Maggie: Braix?

She softy rub her paws on the cast and she looked up at him.

(Y/N): It doesn't hurt as much it looks.

The Braxien picked up her glasses and put them back on. Before the incident, Maggie evolved and she was much stronger than her previous evolution, however she couldn't see far and had to wear glasses. Though a type of glasses wear that it doesn't get broken during battle. It's pretty cool and she liked it too. They got up and sat on the bed together, Maggie show (Y/N) the book she's reading.

(Y/N): A spell book? Are you actually reading that junk?

Maggie pouted at him and read the book. (Y/N) went to his TV and flip through the channels. As he did that, he remembered a moment that happened a year ago.

4 months before the "incident"

(Y/N): Maggie use flamethrower!

Maggie pulled out the stick out her tail and unleashed the flame at the opposing Pokemon. Soon it fainted and (Y/N) won!

Marchioness Pokemon trainer: I knew I would lose, it gives me a reason to keep trying!

(Y/N) went outside and let out Maggie out here pokeball.

Maggie: Braix?

(Y/N) gave her a Sitrus berry and immediately started eating it. He pulled out a water bottle and drank it.

(Y/N): We needed to figure out what to do next about Team flare?

Maggie: Braix!

(Y/N): Yeah but they're busy trying to train up for the league or something.

Then he sees 2 Team flare grunts going into the woods. He thinks they're up to something so he got up and Maggie follow up too.

(Y/N): What are they doing there? Let's check it out.
