Mr. Giovanni?

Giovanni: Yes?

Receptionist: Mr. (L/N) is here.

Giovanni: Send him in.

Giovanni gets up from his seat and looked out the window. Then the door opened and a man in a lab coat with glasses comes in, with a suitcase. He had bags under his eyes, from the tireless nights of working.

???: Giovanni...

Giovanni: That's Mr. Giovanni to you, (Y/N)!

(Y/N): R-Right... It's been brought to my attention... That we finally got 100% completion on the project.

Giovanni: Mewtwo is ready?

(Y/N): Yes. She is.

Giovanni turned around and looked at him confused.

Giovanni: "She"?

(Y/N): Y-Yes... When the project was finished, the genetics within Mewtwo, drastically changed. What once was a non-gendered Pokemon, is now...

Giovanni: A female? Eh, she'll do for now. Show me.

(Y/N) opened the suitcase and inside, is a MasterBall.

(Y/N): This, is Mewtwo. We've put our blood, sweat and tears for this. Many hours spent on her, now it's yours boss.

He yawned but quickly covered his mouth, then handed the MasterBall to Giovanni.

Giovanni: My many thanks to you. You and the others should take a week off.

(Y/N): More like a month. Hahaha...

Giovanni: ....

(Y/N): Uh... I'll go now.

He takes the suitcase and leave. Giovanni looked at the MasterBall and had a grin on his face. Later, (Y/N) returned home and is greeted by his Pokemon. A shiny Pokemon.

???: Eevee!

(Y/N): I missed you too, Sparkles.

Sparkles ran around (Y/N) as he walked to the kitchen. Opening a cabinet and getting the Pokemon's kibble, (Y/N) received a message from his research team.

(Y/N): They're hosting a party at the lab? Everyone will be there and..... Nah.. I'm not great at parties. I rather stay at home and get the necessary amount of sleep required.

He poured the food in the bowl for sparkles and put the food up in the cabinet. (Y/N) goes to the couch and laid down. Tossing the phone to the floor without care and taken off his glasses and sleep. Hours later, he gets woken up by a phone call. He looked at the phone and it was one of the scientist he was working with. Too tired to care, he hanged up and put the phone on silent, then went back to sleep. More hours passed and Sparkles shake (Y/N) awake.

Sparkles: Eevee! Eevee!

Then the door bell rings and (Y/N) gets up from the couch. The ringing continues until (Y/N) answered the door. Opening the door, he's greeted by two Team Rocket Grunts.

(Y/N): ... Can I help you?

Team Rocket Grunt: Mr. Giovanni sends his regards.

One of them pulled a gun out and shot (Y/N), he collapsed and Sparkles was about to attack but is shot too. They drag them to the house and got out fire type Pokemon, and set fire to the house. They left and (Y/N) is still alive, but with a bullet in his chest. Suddenly, everything changes and they're both teleported away from the burning building. (Y/N) wakes up and quickly sit up. He looked around and see he's in a lab. But he quickly remembered that this was the lab, Mewtwo was created in, but it's abandon. (Y/N) checked his bullet wound, but it's not there, only a little bit of dried blood in it's place.
