Nico might not have been angry at Tyler before, but now he is.
He doesn't show it openly, but Tyler can see it in his eyes.
So when his voice is full of nothing but calm, he knows to be afraid.
"Whether or not you'll tell me, I know you realize it," Nico says. "It means he has violated the laws of Dema. And he will be dealt with accordingly."
Tyler swallows.
"Do you know why I'm telling you this?" Nico asks softly. "Why you are here now?"
Tyler shakes his head.
"Because you have a connection to this man," Nico says. "Did you know that?"
Tyler shakes his head again.
"Answer me," Nico commands.
"N-no," Tyler says.
Nico nods, apparently satisfied. "Of course, you wouldn't remember.We-"
He tilts Tyler's chin up and Tyler hates the feel of the bishop's hands, hates this clautrophobic room, hates this uncertainty, hates, hates, hates.
"We helped you to forget."
Well. That can't be good, can it?
