"Thank you," Josh says, "It's just-I want to be able to be able to help people, you know?"
"Yeah," Tyler mumbles, "Yeah, I know. I-I'll try, alright?"
"You got this," Jenna whispers, and Tyler nods and walks away.
"He will be alright, won't he?" Josh asks.
"I hope so," Jenna says. "I hope so. We might have to give him some time, though..."
"Yeah," Josh says, "Okay. I-I really-this better-"
"Hey," Jenna says, "It's okay. We're going to figure this out."
Josh nods.
"Let's find something to take care of, yeah?" Jenna asks. "Then we can come check on him in a little bit."
"Good plan," Josh says.
Josh notices a group of teenagers clustered together, talking about something in loud tones.
He recognized a few of them, Mari and Xavier and Rachel.
"Don't you dare insult her," Xavier was saying.
"I wonder-" Josh says slowly, looking at Jenna, "Do you think we should get involved?"
Jenna's watching, too. "Yeah, maybe so."
"What's going on?" Josh asks them.
"Nothing," Mari says, crossing her arms. "Nothing at all."
"I-" Xavier says. "They were-"
"I'm sorry," Rachel interjects. "We-well, I wasn't thinking, I said some mean things...I'm sorry."
Josh sighs. "Okay. But please, try to be-this is supposed to be an accepting place, all right?"
Rachel nods.
The girl standing next to her does too. "I hear you."
"Thank you," Jenna says, "If anything like this happens again-"
"It won't," the boy standing by Xavier says.
Josh nods. "Good, then. Mari-you know you can talk to us about anything, right?"
She nods.
"That goes for any of you," Jenna says. "Are we good?"
"Yeah," Xavier says, "I suppose so."
"Good," Jenna says.
She looks at Josh for a moment. "You okay?"
"Yeah," he mumbles, "I'm good."
