Tyler is alone in the city of Dema. He can't remember who he was before then. All he knows now is trying to survive in this world. He sees others around him who are struggling too, and he wants to help them. But he can't. He can't even seem to help...

Mari sat, looking into the distance, trying to wipe the tears from her eyes.
"What's wrong?" Josh asks, putting a comforting arm around her.
"It-it's just-" Mari stuttered, "It's just-Dema, it feels like they're still taking so much, stealing so much from me."
"I know," Josh says, "I know. They just want to bring you down. They don't care about what's right, just about hurting others."
Mari felt more tears trickling down her cheeks. "I wish they could-I wish all this would just go away and everything would be okay. I thought it would be, and maybe it kind of is...but there's still so much wrong with me. With the world. Everything."
Someone else quickly joins her.
"I know," Tyler whispers, "I know. I-I just wanted to write my ideas down, to have a chance to be myself, and happy-and they-well, they just want you to follow along blindly with what they force on you. It's not right and it never will be-but look, I promise you, it's okay to keep fighting for what you believe in."
Mari nods. "I know. Thanks, Tyler."
He smiles a little bit.
"You know what?" he asks. "I'm never going to stop trying to fight their influence. Because we can't-we just can't let them win, you hear me? We can't just give in. Not without a fight."
Someone else comes and sits near Mari-Xavier.
"We support you, okay?" he asks. "It's going to work out. I promise. And we're here for you."
"Thanks," Mari whispers, "I love you guys."
All of them smile.
It's going to be okay, Mari thinks. They support me.
She glares at the horizon, looking towards the city that took so much from her.
And anyone who tries to take things things away from me, they won't know what hit them. Because I am going to fight for everything I am.
