Maddie's P.O.V-

I walk into the bathroom slowly as my legs went as secure as they used to bed. I brush my teeth and brush my hair before I go back to my bedroom. I change into some warm sleep wear and go back in my room.

"Knock knock" Luke says outside my room.

"Come in" I say loudly so he could hear me. I see the handle rattle and I giggle.

"Stay there, I got this"

"You sure?" I giggle to myself. The door slowly swings open showing me Luke, holding a tray of food.

"Breakfast in bed for my angel" He smirks.

"You know I can't eat breakfasts in the morning" I say feeling bad, he looked like he tried so hard.

"I know, I just made you something small" He winks and puts the tray down. All I see is two cups of tea and a pancake with whipped cream.

"You make a pancake for me?"

"Well my dad did. He made it before he left, I put the whipped cream on it" He smiles to the ground.

"You care so much, I love you" I kiss his lips before digging into the food. I sit up as Luke puts the tray on the ground. He takes my hand in his and I can see he has something planned.

"Mads.... I want you to meet Steph"

"What? No. I'm not doing that" I say crossing my arms like an angry 4 year old who doesn't get cake.

"Please. She wants to tell you the reason she did it"

"And I don't want to hear it" I sigh as I see all the guilt in his eyes.

"Please do this" He says.

"Fine. But only for you. OH! And only 5 minutes"

"It's all she gets, I promise" He kisses my cheek and texts her.

"You have her number?" I look at him confused.

"No, she found it. She text me earlier"

"Oh right" I clench my jaw and grip onto the bed. I was terrified, what if Luke saw her when he wasn't drunk and liked her more? He grabbed my hand and I relaxed.

"I promise, she'll only be here for 5 minutes, that's it" He smiles and I kiss his lips.

"Are your parents home?" I ask and he shakes his head.

"Mum and dad are at work and my brothers aren't in"

"Okay, got it. I need a shower"

"Well Steph is coming in 5 minutes so you can shower after, can't you" He winks.

"Yeah I guess" I sigh. I hear his door bell ring and he gets up. I grip onto the bed sheets, worried about what she would say to me. I really didn't want to see her.

Steph walked in, as usual, she was wearing a tight dress, her hair still brown. Luke then follows and smiles sympathetically to me. I could see him looking at the ground and I sigh.

"Hello Steph" I say bitterly. She turns her face into a sly smirk and I already knew how this was going to turn out.

"Well if it isn't Maddie, I haven't seen you since we were in school together. Tell me, how are you?" She says sitting on the bed.

"I'd be better if people didn't kiss my boyfriend" I look away.

"Who did that then?" I quickly turn to face her to see the biggest smirk I'd ever seen.

"Why did you want to talk to me?" I say releasing a sigh.

"I want to explain, about what happened? Can I?" She was very patronising and I hated it.

"Of course, I'd really appreciate it" I say just as sarcastic as she was.

"Luke, some privacy" She says and waves him out.

"Sure, I'll be back in 5" He says shutting the door. As soon as the door shuts, she glares right at me.

"Right you ugly bitch, want to know why he kissed me? Because I told him I was you! He's a bit gullible"

"My gullible boyfriend" I smile at the thought of Luke.

"You know, I only wanted to kiss Luke to make you jealous"

"I bet you did. But he didn't enjoy it though or he'd be with you"

"You know, he kisses really well, the way he pulls you in by the waist" She smiles.

"Well if you think that's good, you see what else he can do" She looks back at me I shock. Why did I say that?!

"What?" She gasps.

"The way he holds your hand while he kisses you. He does way cuter things than just that"

"I thought you meant something else but then again, you're too stupid to know what that even is" She laughs at herself.

"I know what sex is, I'm not stupid. Just because some of us don't get it every night like you" I say and she glares.

"If Michael didn't walk in, Luke would've done it. Luke meant nothing to me, I just wanted him for a night"

"And he didn't want you. He would've done me, he thought you were me, remember?' I say and she glares.

"Listen bitch, I'm not done with you or Luke. I'll be back for you. Watch out, remember what I did last time?"

"Last time?" I look confused.

"You didn't think your crash was an accident, did you?" She says smugly and walks out, her heels making a sound with every step. I stay there in shock and I put my head into a pillow. Luke walks back in running over to see new.

"Maddie! What happened?"

"Steph happened. She's a bitch" I say in and out of cries.

"WHAT DID SHE SAY TO YOU?"

"She told me that she was the one who drove into me"

"No, that person was... caught" He shock his head.

"What?" I say wiping my eyes as luckily, I stopped crying.

"The person who crashed into you. It's was Steph's best friend" He gasps as wraps his arms around me, my head going into his chest.

"I'm so sorry Luke" I say and kiss his chest. He pulls off and looks at me for a while.

"Sorry? What?"

"I shouldn't have dragged you into my mess"

"Your mess?"

"My life" I sigh and his eyes gloss over.

"Your life is not a mess, you just got picked on which wasn't your fault"

"LUKE MY PARENTS HATE ME"

"Again, not your fault. None of this is your fault. I'm the one who's sorry. I cheated on you and it was all my fault"

"I don't blame you" I say putting my hands in his.

"Let me say I'm sorry" He lays me down and he lays down too. I suddenly get an once of nerves wash over me until he kisses cheek, then I knew what he wanted.

"Let's cuddle" I say and leans over me, looking in my eyes.

"You're too beautiful. How are you mine?" He says attaching his lips to mine.

"Don't give me that shit, look at you" I say back and hug him. We just lay there for a while, talking about whatever came up. It was relaxing to spend the day like this.
