Our kiss

Maddie's P.O.V-

As we walk off the beach, we come across an empty park which he takes me into.

"This is peaceful" I smile and he nods.

"I come here to write songs if the beach is full"

"That's a good idea" I say and sit with the flowers. He sits beside me and grabs my hand.

"Today has been extremely fun Maddie, I'm so happy we got to spend time together"

"So am I. It's weird, you actually like me"

"I do" He smiles and locks his fingers with mine.

"So tell me, was this a romantic day?" I ask and suddenly regret it which he notices.

"Depends, do you want it to be?" He asks as we get up.

"Maybe I do, maybe I don't" I smirk.

"Well then, let's see" He says and wraps his hands around my waist. I get all tense but soon loosen up, I liked the way it felt when Luke touched me.

I slide my hands on his shoulders and look directly into his crystal blue eyes. He leans down to my level as he was at least 6 foot where as I was barely 5 foot.

He closes his eyes and gently puts his lips onto mine. I close my eyes and kiss him back. He slowly began make the kiss more passionate and with every second, I finally felt welcome somewhere.

As we brake apart, I look up at Luke. He was bright red with a smile across his face, his hair a little messed up.

"You have petals in your hair mads"

"I do?" I laugh and he takes them out for me.

"That was fun" I hear him whisper.

"It was so fun. My first kiss was amazing"

"So was mine"

"That was not your first kiss, you seemed all professional"

"No! I might have just been pretending like I knew what I was doing"

"So was I" I giggled and we both sigh. He takes my hands once again and we walk out of the park. We begin to walk home but I didn't want this night to end.

"We only came for 2 hours Luke but they were the best 2 of my life"

"I'm sure that's not true"

"Trust me Luke, it's true" I smile while taking his hand in mine.

"But you were in a supermarket for a whole night"

"But I just got my first kiss by the hottest guy at our school"

"Me? You think I'm the hottest guy?"

"Of course Luke! You're extremely hot"

"Why thank you" He says posing a little making me laugh.

We continue to walk, just talking about normal things when we get to my street.

"I had the best time ever today Luke, thank you" I kiss his cheek and walk towards my house.

"Hottest girl in school" I hear him say and I turn to face him.

"No I'm not"

"You're a liar also. Hotness must come with lies" He smirks. I bite my lip and get to my house.

I go around the back and climb up the wall. It takes me quite a while but I had to do it.

I get to my room where I quickly get changed into my comfy clothing and pull out some books to study from. Soon enough my mum comes up with the slop she's made me for dinner.

"Thanks mum"

"Don't say that" She grunts and leaves my room.

Today may have been sneaky but it was the best day of my life. I finally got my first kiss, I went to the beach with someone and let's not forget I left the house for 2 hours without anyone noticing.
