Phone calls

Maddie's P.O.V-

*1 week later*

We arrive at L.A and I instantly get tired considering there was a 17 hour difference.

"Here we are, L.A" Luke smiles pulling me into a hug as we walk out of the airport and into the crowd of fans. After a couple of minutes, we decide to go to the hotel and just chill out before doing anything.

We get to the hotel which was the most beautiful place I could possibly think of. The whole ceiling was covered in just one chandelier and it was just magical.

"This place is amazing" I say to Anna who nods.

"Look how homely it all is, even the chandelier" She jokes and we laugh.

"Why are you laughing?" Lena glares.

"Because we're having a good time" I say and she stares back in disgust.

"But there's no service. This isn't fun"

"Put you phone down for one second and you might actually enjoy this holiday with your boyfriend" Anna sighs and walks over to Calum.

"Anna is such a bitch, am I right?" She laughs.

"Anna is a great person, way better than you" I roll my eyes and walk over to Luke who slides his arm around me.

"You okay?"

"Lena is being a bitch" I sigh and he nods.

"As usual then" We both laugh and Michael comes over.

"Got our keysssssss" He giggles and hands is all our key. Every couple had a room each with I was happy with considering I hated people seeing how messy I was, I even hated luke seeing my mess.

We all run up the stairs like school kids trying to find our rooms. Lucky, Maduke and Lichael were next to each other and so was Hashton and Canna.

"This is our stop" Michael laughs and they continue walking as we unlock our doors.

"See you later guys" I smirk and we walk in.

The whole room was amazing. The ceiling was so high and the decor was breath taking. They had the biggest double bed I had ever seen and it looked the comfiest.

"Luke, look at this place"

"Holy shit, we're like royalty" He laughs and lays on the bed where I join him.

"Defiantly in love with this bed"

"More than ours at home? She smiles.

"Well... The house bed and I made a connection so...."

"As did we on the bed" I smirk as Luke comes over and kisses my lips.

"I love you"

"I love you more" I smile and cuddle up to Luke as we fall asleep. Jet lag sucked.

I wake up abruptly when I hear my phone ringing. I run and grab it to see Lena calling which confused me as she never called me.

"Lena?"

"Hi, uh, can I ask a quick favour?"

"Yeah sure, what's up?" She sounded worried.

"Can we swap rooms?" I see Luke waking up behind me and I smile.

"Well I'll have to ask Luke but-"

"No I mean us"

"You want me to let you share a bed with my boyfriend?" I say confused.

"Michael and I had an argument and I want to get away" She cries and I sigh.

"Why don't you ask the manger or something? I mean, I don't really feel comfortable letting you sleep with Luke in the same bed" He looks at me scared and confused.

"Please Maddie"

"Lena, I can't"

"I won't try anything I promise"

"No" I say sternly and she screams.

"You're so ignorant! If something doesn't suit you, we don't do it. If you wanted to swap rooms I would in a heartbeat to make you happy because if I didn't, you have a tantrum and Luke would come to the rescue and be like 'stop picking on Maddie' which I apparently always do. You're a bitch and you act like everyone likes you when in reality, everyone doesn't. Do you know how many people actually wish Luke was dating anyone but you? A lot. When you left, I was so frickin happy. I never had to see you again but here you fucking are ruining things as usual. So stop being an evil little cow and let me swap rooms"

"Fuck you" I say and put the phone down. I sit on the edge of the bed and glare at the wall.

"What happened?"

"I need to get some fresh air Luke" I sigh and he nods getting his coat.

"I'm coming with you" He smiles and kisses my cheek calming me down a bit. We walk out to the streets and he takes my hand. I explain the whole conversation with Lena to him and he looks upset.

"Mads, I'm sorry. None of that is even true. The only thing that was true was probably the bit about her and Michael arguing" I nod.

"Thanks Luke, you always make me feel better" I kiss his lips gently as a couple of paparazzi come and take pictures.

I giggle as Luke pulls off and we carry on walking. We just chat about nothing which was extremely fun in our case.
