Luke! I need you!

Luke's P.O.V-

*2 weeks later*

"Bitch, you're in my way"

"Michael, it's called a race for a reason" I laugh as I take over him in Mario Kart. I see Maddie ringing me and I let it go to answer phone as I was busy.

"EAT MY SHIT HEMMINGS" Michael shouts as he over takes me. I growl as he comes in first place.

"You cheated"

"By being awesome" He winks and I punch his arm as Maddie rings me again.

I pick up my phone and see 7 missed calls all off Maddie which was unlike Maddie.

"Answer your phone, it must be important" I nod and walk to the back garden where I ring Maddie.

"Finally! Where have you been?"

"Uhhh-"

"Mario kart?"

"Maybe"

"Anyway, this is serious"

"Oh god, did Brad post another selfie?" I joke as I knew it was her celebrity crush.

"No, real serious Luke. But yes he did and he looked hot"

"What?"

"Is Michael home?"

"Yeah.. Wait, you're upstairs?" I laugh.

"THIS IS SERIOUS GET YOUR ASS UP HERE" She says and ends the call. I laugh while walking in the house.

"She's upstairs and she's ringing me, what the hell"

"Luke! I need you!" I hear her shout and Michael giggles.

"Not funny" I sigh while walking up the stairs.

"Took you long enough" I see her sitting on her side of the bed.

"What's wrong beautiful?"

"Nothing really, just this" She throws a box behind her and it hits me in the face.

"OW" I shout and she turns around giggling.

"I'm sorry! You were meant to catch it"

"Could've warned me!" I laugh and she clutches my arm.

"It wouldn't have been cool if I told you to catch it"

"Yeah but I would've caught it and I wouldn't be in pain!" I laugh.

"Getting to the real reason you're here..." She picks up the box and gives it to me. I take the box in my hand and see the words.

"No way"

"I'm not sure yet"

"Pregnant?"

"I might be... I haven't done the test yet but I have a weird feeling plus I was sick this morning" She says giggling.

"Oh my god, you need to pee. Right now!" I say pushing her gently to the toilet.

"Okay, I'm going" She laughs. I had a smile plastered across my face as she goes in.

I wait a couple of minutes before she finally exits and puts the test on the side. We both sit in silence until it beeps.

"Do you want to get it?"

"It's your test Maddie" I giggle. I was so nervous, I really wanted it to be positive. She gets up and grabs the test without looking and brings it over to us.

"Let's do it together"

"1,2,3..." She says and we both open our eyes. 2 red lines, she was pregnant.

"WE'RE PARENTS" I shout and grab her. We wanted a child and we were trying so this was the best news ever.

"I'm a mother. I have a baby growing inside of me" She says looking down to her stomach.

"What the hell, that sounds weird" I laugh.

"Hey little baby" She giggles poking her stomach.

"Did it say how long you are?"

"Yeah I'm 3 months. 6 months until our little baby is here"

"LETS TELL MICHAEL" I say running down the stairs. It takes Maddie longer because she had really short legs.

"What's up with you both?" Michael laughs.

"We have some news"

"Maddie's pregnant" Michael says and we both look at him confused.

"Yeah... How did you know?"

"I heard you scream 'we are going to be parents' so I put two and two together" He laughs and stands up.

"I understand if you don't want to live here anymore" Maddie says while they hug.

"What?"

"Well, the baby will be crying at night and it'll wake you up. I don't want to ruin your sleep"

"Maddie, I love kids so this kind of like my dream. Unless you don't want me here"

"Of course we do Mikey, we love having you here" Maddie smiles as she comes over to me.

"You're part of our family Mikey" I say cuddling him.

All I could do was look around. I didn't know what to say. I was going to be a dad. I had made a real child! I close my eyes as my tears fall out. This was real. I was going to be a parent and I couldn't believe it.

"Aww Luke, you're crying" She laughs.

"I am the happiest person ever. I'm so happy I'm going to be a dad"

"Perfect timing too, you're both 26" Michael giggles.

I cuddle Maddie who couldn't stop smiling like me and I laugh. She was adorable and she was all mine.
