Let's take you home

Luke's P.O.V-

I collect all the small gifts that Maddie been given and put them gently into her bag. She kisses my cheek as I shut the last bag. I was so excited to finally take her home.

"Am I still staying with your family?"

"You're welcome for life Mads" I say and she smiles.

"You're family are amazing, they're so welcoming"

"Lets go see them then" I wink. I put my arm around her and she puts her head in my chest.

"Let's leave and I pray we won't have to see another hospital for as long as I'll live"

"Apart from when you have children, unless you don't want children" I say and regret it.

"I don't know if I want children to be honest. It depends who the dad would be"

"Well let's say it's me" I say and she smirks.

"Of course I'd have kids with you, you'd be an amazing parent. I think you'd make them feel loved everyday, just like I do" She says getting on her tip toes. I grab her waist and pull her in.

"You want to damage your foot even more?" I say after attaching my lips to hers.

"I'll have to damage my foot more often than" I wink at her and release her. She picks up her backpack and we both leave the room. She speaks to her doctors before we leave saying how much she appreciates them looking after, she was so cute.

We step through the doors of the hospital and the whole car park is full of fans. They all scream my name and I get angry. Maddie was in hospital, coming home for peace and now she was getting mobbed by my fans.

"I'm going to the car" She says in between getting thrown around by fans.

"No wait! Mads" I say and chase after her. I see her get to the car a collapse so I run over. She was conscious, just weak. I pick her up and slide her into the car and drive off.

"I'm sorry I didn't let you meet your fans"

"True fans don't mob people coming out of hospital. That's disrespectful" I sigh and finally reach the house.

"I'm so glad I'm back here" She says getting out. I follow her as we get to the front door.

"We're glad you're back too" I knock on the door as my arms were full of Maddie's stuff. My mum answers the door and she smiles at us.

"You're back! How are you feeling Maddie?" She says taking some of Maddie's bags.

"I'm feeling okay, I'm out of hospital so I'm happy"

"That is good news" She laughs and we all go inside. I help Maddie to her bedroom and sit her in her bed.

"It's so nice to have a comfy bed" She says laying down. I join her and link our hands.

"I missed sleeping beside you"

"Like in your song" She giggles and I join in.

"That was actually a good song" I say and she nods.

"It was great, really sad though. She sleeps alone. That'll be me when you go on tour" She sits up at the thought.

"Mads, we don't have a tour, I doubt we ever will. You don't need to worry" I turn to face her and cuddle into her side. She giggles and wraps her arms around me.

"I love you so much Luke and trust me, you'll get a tour. You'll get a huge world tour and sell out everywhere" She bites her lip.

"I love you too Mads" I say and she puts her head on my shoulder. She was going to be okay and that made me smile.
