LEAVE HER ALONE

Luke's P.O.V-

I walk out of my final lesson and meet up with Michael. He comes over and jumps on my back.

"LUKEY PUKEY WITH A SIDE OF FRUITY"

"That makes no sense but hi" I say and he falls off and onto the floor. I help him up and luckily, no one saw.

We begin to walk when I spot Maddie ahead of us. I see a couple of people walk up behind her and trip her up, causing her to fall on the concrete.

"Michael, we have to help" I say and he agrees so we quickly run over. Michael takes Maddie away as she was crying, her whole face covered in blood from falling on a hard surface. I walk over to Matt who looks up at me.

"What do you want Lucas?" He laughs along with his friends.

"I want to talk, like you did the other day" I say and he nods. I stand in front of him and his friends as I catch a glimpse Maddie crying with Michael.

"What Luke?"

"Leave Maddie alone" I say quietly making them all look confused.

"Again?"

"LEAVE HER ALONE" I shout and they all move back a bit.

"You gonna make me Hemmo1996?" He emphasises my YouTube username.

"I will" I say and walk towards them.

"Yea-" I punch him and they all gasp, including me. I look at Maddie who runs over to me.

"Don't do it, I don't care what's happens to me, please don't hurt anyone. It's not with it Luke" She whispers sweetly so only I could hear her.

"I'm sorry" I say and hide my eyes, I couldn't believe I actually just did that.

"Let's go back to my place" Michael says and we walk to his place.

As we walk to Michael's house, all I can think about is what I did. I punched him. I actually punched someone. For the second time... what was I doing?

"Luke?" Michael says and I realise I had stopped in the street. I continue to walk and catch up with them. I walk beside Maddie who looks in pain so I take her hand which makes her smirk.

"I'm sorry I punched that guy, I really am"

"I'm sorry I got you in this mess" She says quietly so Michael doesn't hear.

"Come on, it wasn't your fault" I say and she shrugs. I squeeze her hand tighter as we get to Michael's house.

We go inside and he runs to the kitchen to get his first aid kit. I sit Maddie down on his sofa and she sighs.

"You okay mads?"

"I'll be fine"

"Good, I don't like seeing you in pain"

"I should go" She says getting up but I luckily stop her.

"You're in pain, you're not going anywhere until I know you're okay" I sit her back down and she smiles uncomfortably.

Michael finally comes in with the first aid kit and we both help clean Maddie's face.

"You're glasses smashed Maddie, do you have a spare pair?" Michael asks and she shakes her head sadly.

"People are so mean" I say not letting her hand go.

A while later, I take Maddie home as I knew that's where she wanted to be.

"I can walk the rest of the way"

"Honesty, it's no bother" I reply.

"Go home, I'll be fine" She smiles and waves as she walks. I walk back to my house and lay on my bed. She spoke to me again!

I look online to see Matt had put up a status that said 'You'll pay for this!' and I knew he meant me. I log off and begin to listen to music. I knew that the future would be getting better, it couldn't get any worse.
