First video

Luke's P.O.V-

I walk into the school and find Michael smiling at his phone. I stroll over and give him a hug.

"I'm so excited, I'm hugging you back"

"I can't wait! We're meeting Ashton at your house aren't we?" I ask and he nods.

"My parents are out so" He winks and I laugh.

We walk into our class and luckily, it was math. I sat down next to Michael and Maddie who kept to herself as usual.

I look over at her work. she had finished and was currently drawing a guitarist in a red pen, it looked so cool.

"I like the theme of this page. Red and black" I say and she's smiles shyly.

"Luke, what's this one? Oh, fine, I'll just take your book" Michael laughs as he sees me talking to Maddie. I continue to look at Maddie who was currently smiling. She stops drawing and looks up at me.

"You're a great artist" She smiles with her teeth to show her braces. She quickly shuts her mouth and her eyes glass over.

"Maddie, are you okay?" She shakes her head. She writes on her work and I read it:

'I'm so ugly'

"No you're not, you're beautiful" I see a smile come onto her face and she begins to blush.

"LUKE! Are you listening? And Maddie..." She nods and I glare at my mum.

"Yes"

"We go then, the bell went" She says calmly and I see everyone had left.

"Oh sorry mum" We both get up and walk to our next class. I watch her slowly walk faster into the class and slide onto her chair.

I sit through the whole class looking at Maddie and smirking every time she looked. She would occasionally do one back to make me giggle a bit.

We finally leave for school and I run over to Michael.

"I'M SO EXCITED" He shouts.

"Shut up, people are staring"

"Luke, I couldn't give two shits, I'm happy"

"Me too!" I say as Calum comes over to us.

"TO THE CLIFFORD LAIR" Michael shouts again making calum and I jump.

We walk to his house discussing how awesome it would be if we did get a drummer, our dream was slowly happening.

We get to his house and I sit on his sofa with Calum. We play Fifa while Michael makes food as we wait for Ashton to arrive.

"When's this kid coming?"

"This kid who's 2 years old than us" I answer laughing.

"What?"

"Yes, he's 18 okay" I say and he gulps. I loved it when Michael was nervous.

"In a minute, he has to ride his bike here"

"Why can't he drive?"

"He can, his mum has the car today though"

"Oh, how long will it take him?" At that second, his door bell rings and we all stare at the door.

I get up and slowly make my way over to it. I open the door and see a teenager with a bike.

"Ash! Come in" He smiles and I could see he was out of breath. He leaves his bike chained up outside and follows me into Michael's house.

"Sorry.. It took... Me ages"

"Don't worry, how long did it take you?"

"2 hours, I had to ride nearly 10 miles"

"WHAT?" Calum said as we were all thinking it.

"It's okay, I'm getting better"

"Can I get you a drink?"

"Water please" Michael goes to get Ashton some water as we introduce ourselves.

"So you're Mr Ashton Irwin?" I ask and he nods.

"And you're Luke Hemmings and Calum Hood?"

"That's us and the one in there is Michael Clifford"

"It's great to finally meet you guys, I've been waiting ages for a cool band to join"

"We kind of suck" Calum says making him giggle. He sounded like a cute pony making me laugh.

"I'm sure it's better than my old band, that was called swallow the goldfish"

"You're kidding?"Calum laughs.

"I left after one gig. 5 seconds of summer is cool though"

"I thought of that!" Michael says running in. He hands a sweaty Ashton the water and gives him the lecture of how he thought of the name.

"That's cool, I guess" He laughs nervously.

"So, can we hear you play?"

"Here" He shows us a video he had recorded on his phone. He was amazing!

"You rock!"

'Took the words out of my mouth Cal' I say and Ashton smiles.

"So, want to be in our band?" Michael asks and he nods.

"I'd love you!"

"WE MADE A BAND!" I say and we have a group hug around Ashton.

"So, first video?" Michael says.

"I don't have my drum kit with me"

"Well I have a box so acoustic?"

"Lets do it" He smiles and we get into positions after we practise. We all played the song 'teenage dirt-bag' and I had to admit, it was so cool with a drummer.

We finish the video and upload it to my channel. We all hang out for a while before we all go our separate ways.

I get into my room where I watch our video and smile. We had a drummer, 5 seconds of summer was complete.
