What a beautiful crowd...

Luke's P.O.V-

I get out of my bedroom and slide down my stairs as I hear Ben and Jack talking.

"BROTHERS THAT I HAVEN'T SEEN I AGES" I shout and jump on both of them.

"Luke!" They say in unison frightening me. We have a group hug for a good 10 minutes before my mum comes in, rushing us to get to the arena.

We drive down and I meet calum there who had been driven down but his mum.

"CAL PAL" I shout and dive on him making him giggle.

"Well, do this and you'll make Mr Clifford jealous" I hear Michael say and we get up. I give him a hug and he smiles.

"Ashy lashy" Calum smirks while hugging him.

"Has something happened? You're all hugging?"

"No we're just happy we are finally playing a concert in our home town"

"Fair enough" He says and joins our giant hug. I loved this band.

We all go back stage to the dressing room as they began to let people in. I changed in my ripped skinny jeans and my 'destroy yourself see who gives a fuck' shirt. It was my lucky shirt which I loved to wear on stage. I slide my guitar on my shoulder and play a chord to make sure it sounds good.

"Ready Hemmings?'" Michael asks and I nod. I was nervous but I couldn't wait to feel the adrenaline from this concert. I run onto the stage and begin to play a couple chords.

"Hello Sydney" I say into the microphone making the crowd go crazy. The rest of the band come on and we begin to sing SLSP as that's how we usually start our concerts.

"So this next song was written by Luke"

"And a very special friend of mine"

"Oh yeah, Luke's friend helped him. It's pretty cool, it about not being a couple of reasons" Calum jokes making me laugh.

I finish the song and close my eyes. It somehow brought back memories of the beach. The first time I heard her voice. The way she looked. The way she made me feel.

I open my eyes and see one thing. The most beautiful white dress. I follow the dress up the head which shows the most beautiful face. Maddie. My whole world stops in silence. For a second I didn't believe it. Why would she come back? It had been a year...

I walk closer to the crowd making everyone look at me strangely. I see her face clearly, she had her glasses off, braces were gone and her skin had cleared up. She was hotter than before.

I wink at her as it was the end of the concert so we sung our last song and all I could do was stare at Maddie. I send smirks to her just like we used to when we were 16 in English class.

"Thank you for coming out to see us guys! It was so fun to sing for you!" Ashton says and we all take a bow. We leave the stage and all I can think of is Maddie.

"Luke?" Calum asks puzzled.

"Yeah?" I say looking around.

"What are trying to find?"

"I saw Maddie. She was in the crowd"

"I don't think so Luke, she left a year ago"

"She promised me she'd come back" I say and walk out of our room. That's when I saw her standing alone looking directly at me.
