Luke's P.O.V-

I walk into Maddie's room as she texted me saying she had a surprise for me. I get in and see her still in bed.

"Guess who?" I say while sliding into bed with her.

"Is it Ashton?"

"Why would Ashton be here?"

"I'm joking Luke, I know it's you" She laughs and I join her.

"Soooo?"

"Sooooo..."

"What's my surprise?"

"Oh yeah, wait here" She smiles while getting up. She picks up something small and comes over. She sits down, straddling my waist and I smirk.

"Here" She giggles. I take it out of her hands and see a small packet. I unwrap it and smile instantly.

"This is so cute" I say putting on the wristband. She had bought me a wristband with her initials on.

"You like?"

"I love it, thank you" I kiss her lips and she lays down beside me. I wrap my arms around her and she smirks. I kiss her cheek making her giggle a little.

"I love you Hemmings"

"I love you more Malik" I joke and she hits me.

"Shut up, I will always be a Day"

"Unless we get married"

"No. If we get married, you're Luke Day" I stare at her for a while before she bursts out with laughter.

"Oh..." I frown at her for a while before she bursts out with laughter.

"I'm lying I can't wait to get rid of this shitty name. I can finally forget about my family" I smile at her, I was happy she didn't have to cope with them anymore.

"LUKE, MADDIE COME QUICK" I hear my mum shouts and we run down. I see my whole family just staring at the TV.

"I'm sorry guys" Jack says as I see the TV.

I sit down and Maddie sits on my lap as they show a photo of Zayn.

"Luke, I'm sorry. This is all my fault"

"He's okay with it. He was the one cheating on you!" I shout and kick the coffee table hitting it over. Tears build up in my eyes and I feel Maddie's hand on my shoulder. I see Zayn come on the TV and I glare. Why would he lie? I see the sow was live and I get even angrier.

"Zayn, tell us, how hurt are you that Maddie is with Luke Hemmings instead of you?"

"I'm fine, we both decided that we are better as friends. I'm dating Perrie and she's with Luke so this whole news report is bullshit" He laughs and so does Maddie. I grab her hand as she kisses my cheek.

"What?" The interviewer asks.

"Maddie and I weren't meant to be so we ended it. She loves Luke and I love Perrie. It's over but we're close friends" He smiles. I was glad he chose to tell the world like this as it was live and no one could change it to make good television. My family and I sigh with relief. The interviewer still looks shocked making me laugh.

"He's so nice, I'm glad you spent 3 years with him"

"He wasn't as caring as you though" I smile at her and she kisses my cheek.

"STOP! You make me want to have a girlfriend" Ben says and I laugh while kissing Maddie.

"MADUKE KISS MADUKE KISS MADUKE KISS MADUKE KISS" My mum chants and we both glare.

"Embarrassing" I say and she laughs.

"Can I not chant when my son gets a kiss?"

"You'll be chanting when him and Maddie go to his bedroom and-"

"Stop now Jack, I'm not that creepy" She says while shaking her head. I feel Maddie tense up beside me and I join her at the thought of that.

"Nothing like that happens anyway" I say and Jack laughs.

"Come on, we're not stupid Luke. You two don't stop touching each other"

"We haven't" Maddie says innocently and I laugh.

"Look how cute and innocent she is" I say and she glares.

"Cute and innocent? Luke, I am none of those" She giggles.

"She's my bad girl" I say wrapping my arms around her.

"Ew no, I'm leaving before I get any details" Jack says ushering Zoe out.

"No I meant-"

"I'm also out" My mum says and leaves. Maddie and I both giggle like school girls as we know that makes people stop questioning us.

"You're so sneaky" She says and sits down. I sit beside her and nod.

"Who do you love?"

"Youuuuuuu" She says planting lots of kisses on my lips.

"You're adorable" I say biting my lip.

"I HATE YOU STOP BITING YOUR LIP IT MAKES ME ALL GOOEY"

"Sorry, I can't help it" I say and do it again.

"LUKE" She says and pretends to collapse on me.

"I love you"

"I love you more" She smirks at me. I was so lucky she was mine.
