"So..." I trailed off, fixating my gaze on the fluffy white clouds that discreetly moved closer to one another, covering the sun.

I honestly don't know what to ask or say to him. I guess it's kinda a bit embarrassing and awkward after all that cheesy and out front confession I just made.

We laid on top of the grass fields, my hands sprawled across whilst I felt the leaves gently tickle my skin.

"What are you going to say to Hannah?" I curiously asked, gently squinting my eyes when the beam of sun strikes me.

"What do you mean?" he replied.

"I mean.. we're like.." I turned slightly flustered, then cleared my throat a bit too sheepishly. "--dating, you know?"

It still feels surreal to me. That I'm dating Tom. That somehow one thing led to another and we're here.

"She has like feelings for you," I murmured. "--and you're such a sly fox, leading her on."

"I'm not leading her on, Janna," he responded, slightly poking me from the sides. I flinch. "---and don't even think I'm two-timing you cause I'm not."

"Yeah sure," I unconvincingly shrugged. "---says the guy who seemed so flirtatious with her."

"Like I told you," he reached out for my hand and held it, gently clasping it with his. "---I wasn't flirting with her. If anything, I was thinking about you all this time."

"Tch," I blushed, snagging my hand off his. "---you're such a cassanova. You didn't even bat an eye at me once!"

"So you've been secretly looking at me huh?" he says teasingly, springing from his lying state on the grass whilst he sat beside me, poking stares at me.

"I wasn't! I just happened to look at your direction," I fussed. "--stop getting wrong ideas, idiot."

"You've been calling me idiot all this time, you know?" he pointed out. "---is this your endearment for me now?"

"You want to be called that way?" I glanced at him a bit too snobberish. "--how masochistic of you."

He smiled at me. "I think it'd be nice if you'd called me Tommy. That sounds kinda cute if you ask me?"

I scrunched my nose at him in distaste, then I attempted to pull myself up but failed, flinging my entire body back to the grass. He reaches his hand to me and I took it, pulling me upwards.

I pat down my tangled hair and bits of grass that stuck to my uniform.

"That's too cheesy for me. No thank you."

"Aww. But it'd be nice if you ca---"

   "No."

"Fine," he pouted. "---then, shall I call you love?"

I pretend to fake gag, clasping a hand onto my throat for dramatic effect to convey to him how overly cheesy and gross it sounded. As much as it sounds sweet when he says it; I wouldn't appreciate if he called me that. I think he gets the memo though.

I think endearment names are too overrated---but the thing that would kill me is if he called me 'baby'. That thing sounds so disgusting to the point I might want to crawl back to my mother's womb if he called me that.

    The thought made me shudder.

"Just because we're dating, doesn't mean we need to have a name Tom," I convinced him, lightly nudging his shoulder.

"Or shall I call you Mr. Lucitor?" I cheekily grinned. "---sounds nice, right?"

He frowned to his displeasure, looking at me in distaste. "Don't even call me that."

"See?" I sluggishly shrug. "---so just drop it."

"Oh yeah I forgot," he added, meanwhile fishing for his pockets. Then he pulls out the beanie that fell when I sprinted awhile ago.

He lightly pats it, straightening the wrinkles and then faces me with a smile. He leans forward, placing the beanie on top of my head carefully, adjusting it with a intent look.

    "That looks better."

"You mean to say that I look bad without my beanie?" I teased him.

"Janna, stop twisting my words," he frowned. "---I'll tickle you."

"Alright. I'll stop," I scoot further from him, wary that he'd pull a fast move and tickle me until I'd probably pee my pants.

"Hey Janna," he called me, lightly brushing the tips of his hair. "---you won't regret this right? I mean I don't want you to since it makes me happy."

I lightly nudge him on the sides, murmuring sheepishly. "I'm happy too..you know?"

"Thanks," he blushed, then timidly glances at his watch which he started wearing the past two weeks. "--I think we should go back now."

I groan, flinging my hands. "I think I'd skip it."

He flashed me a playful scowl, waving his index finger side to side. "No buts Janna. We have to go now."

I pursed my lips, crossing my arms to my chest. "I'm not in the mood for people right now. I just embarrassed myself out there and I could just imagine the stares I'd get."

   "Why would you be humiliated?"

"Because you know..." I fiddle with my words. "--I just confessed in front of you and people must've thought that I was an idiot and I got rejected--not to mention that cringey quote I just screamed in front of everyone."

He puts a finger on my nose, smiling cheekily. "But you weren't. Why are you embarrassed anyway? It's none of their business."

    "Hey-----"

"Plus, you're my girlfriend aren't you?" he states, springing up from his sitting and reaches a hand towards me. "---so you don't have anything to be embarrassed about."

Girlfriend, huh? That kinda sounds nice.

I grasp his hand and he hoisten me upwards. I pat down grass bits stuck on my skirt with my free hand while the other firmly held on his.

"Let go of my hand," I shook the hand he held, motioning him to release but he doesn't.

    He grins. "Nope."

   "People will see---"

"So what? We have nothing to hide, you know?" he squeezes my hand. "---plus, I want to show everyone my cute girlfriend."

    "Tch. Cheeky bastard."

"Ah, but you love him anyway," he retorts.

"When did you get so sassy?" I asked, amused whilst we started walking towards the exit.

    "I learned from the best."

    "Well, I'm flattered."

Note : This chapter is shitty since I got lazy and I'll write properly next chapter lol.
