"Camping: 4."

"Can we just please t-talk this out tomorrow?!" I couldn't help myself to raise my voice that somewhat startled him. I stood up from being sat back on his lap and went out of his tent still being flustered about what just happened. Chan was still outside his tent and he must've heard my voice judging the way he looks, confused.

I didn't minded him or even the girls who's also confused as to why I acted so bratty and just went back inside my tent, closing my lamp and packed myself in my sleeping bag.

~

"Don't talk to me!"

"You're so bratty!"

"Yes I am! So what?!"

"Hey, hey, stop fighting!"

"What's going on here with you two?" I asked and sat down between Jae and Taeyeon who both seems to be in a bad mood today.

"Taeyeon's being a frickin' brat again. Dang, this periodic drama queen." Jae said and pouted and just looked away and a guy suddenly sat beside her that made her shocked. I came to also look at the guy and oh... That's a handsome, cold-looking guy over there...

"D-daiki?" Jae called and the boy looked at him confusingly and with a brow raised. "Can I help you?"

"Hi, do you still... Remember me?" Jae asked and the rest of us behind her waited for Daiki's respond. He looked up and tried to remember anything about Jae and...

"Sorry... Can you at least give me a hand so I can remember anything about you?" Daiki said and Jae nervously chuckled and her hands slightly trembled.

"Uhmm... Well.. I'm that girl who helped you when you almost fell on the river." Jae said and hoped for Daiki to remember her which somewhat helped him, I guess.

"Uh... Really? You're...— Ah, Jae Hyun?"

"Yes, It's me."

"Wow, H-hi... I'm sorry, I almost forgot about you." Daiki chuckled and Jae looked back at us with face starting to get red that made us laugh.

"Someone's having butterflies right now, huh."

"Hi, Daiki. Glad to see you again." Hangyeol greeted and Daiki greeted them back with a smile and caught his attention on me.

"Is she also your f-friend?" Daiki asked and Jae nodded, pulling me closer to her. "Yes, she's new. Her name is Hana Choi."

"Hana Choi..?"

"Yes, n-nice to meet you." I said and smiled at him and saw his smiled picking up a doubtful look which also made me doubt but.. Whatever, he looks good by the way, your typical anime boy.

"Your name sounds familiar to me, haha. But I don't think I met you before, sorry for that."

"Ah, that's fine. Maybe the girl you're talking about wasn't me."

"Yes you aren't." Jeonghan suddenly came and pulled me away from Jae.

~

"The mission of each campus is to protect their team gem and of course, there will be a specific person in your team who will protect the gem and the others only need to help them protect their gem. If your gem gets stolen, you'll automatically lose, if you managed to take the other team's gem, you'll get a reward at the end of the Camp's last recognition for you." Aerina explained the game that will be held for the whole camping days. That sounds competitive and I am rooting for our school to definitely win this.

"So what do we do? Should we give the gem to the other sections and let them handle it?" Our schoolmate from behind said and Jeonghan stood up, taking our school's gem and clinged it on my denim skirt's pouch.

"H-hey, I didn't signed up for this!" I exclaimed and Jeonghan raised his brow at me and then just chuckled, patting my shoulder.

"I'm doing this so I can keep my eyes on you, kid. You go on places without me but not anymore that I know you can be beaten with that thing clinging on you." He said that somewhat threatened me. "No, I'm not doing this. Do you know what danger awaits for me if I hold that? Look at the other schools, they have their masculines watching others and with a single pinch from them, I can die!"

"Don't be so dramatic, girl. In that case, I can just take it instead and take Young Master Han's attention to me since I have the gem." A girl from another section suddenly barged into our small argument that made us stop for a while. Jeonghan scoffed and fixed his hoodie, walking away with a 'tsk'.

"We'll protect you, Hana!" Taeyeon said and clinged her arms on mine that made me smile. Grr, I guess there's no way out of this anymore.

A few hours have passed and the games began. Half of my schoolmates is currently holding our site. I haven't mentioned you the game yet. It's called "protect your base".

It's a game like tom chasing his jerry. The only thing is that when you get caught by the other school, you'll be recruited to them until a single base runs out of people, the attacker of that base will win and receive an incentive for the great work.

"Hana, Daiki will chase you. Run as fast as you can and enter there in the forest and tire him. If you knew he's already tired, run back here so we can take him!" Jae said that gave me a slight shock.

"Wait.. I-I'm the next runner?"

"Isn't it obvious? Come on, girl. He has his eyes on you right now." Hangyeol said and tapped my shoulder. "Don't worry, if he causes you accident.. We'll make him pay for it."

"And of course there'll be another set to chase, I'll go next and another from Daiki's team so don't worry about anything. Okay?" Hangyeol said.

Why do we even have to play like kids anyway? I hate this!

Who even invented this game? Let me just give you a hard punch on the gut.

"Run!"

I quickly ran out of our site and immediately saw Daiki chasing my back so as what Jae told me, I ran inside the forest as fast as I could and didn't stop running until I could hear nothing but my own steps.

"G-gosh... Thank goodness I'm a runner.." I said under my breath and looked back seeing rustles not too far away from me and realized it's already Daiki so I immediately started to run again.

"Stop! Stop right there!" Daiki shouted at me but I didn't, I don't want to lose at this game so I continued running deeper into the area and after a while, my runs started to grow as a jog as I felt myself getting tired already.

"Oh no...—" I suddenly felt a hand covered my mouth and I tried to remove it but he was too strong.

"Shh.. I'm not going to hurt you. Keep calm." Daiki said so I tried to calm down and so then he removed his hand from covering my mouth.

"Goodness, I don't know you're this fast and good at running." He said and sat down at a nearby rock and tried to catch his breath.

"I'm sorry, I just want to help my team win." I said that made him chuckle and he raised both of his hands as a sign of surrender. "I don't mind. Take me then and let's head back to the site." He said and I nodded and he then stood up and was about to head back when we realized.

"We're lost."
