Outnumbered - Dermot Kennedy

It's your final assessment before 'graduation'. They don't actually call it that but it's how you've been referring to it. It's exactly the same as before for the combat assessment, but they've combined the other two.
For the combat section, you didn't hold back. Everyone else's skills had improved just as much as yours, so you had no excuse not to try and win. Which you did. With less ease than last time, but you still ended up on top.

As for the other assessment, it wasn't as easy. Sort of like the training exercises used by emergency departments, you'll be lead through a course with moving and static targets (some of which shoot back). Obviously they're not using real bullets, so instead it's electrical charges. It's a nasty shock but doesn't even leave a mark.
The whole thing takes you 20 minutes to complete. You don't get shocked once, but you did need to fight off the nausea half way through. Different to last time though, you finished in the upper quartile. High, in the upper quartile.

You didn't bother asking about ranking this time, it didn't really matter. All you cared about was getting the go ahead to finish the program. Other than the for-mentioned assessments, there were several psychological and intelligence tests that you weren't too worried about. But once everything was over, it was just a case of having a meeting with the three trainers.

Bucky tries to hide his smile after he walks in, but you can already tell you're free to go. Whatever the other two trainers say are blocked out by you just wanting to leave. It's not until a file placed in front of you with your name and a large red stamp reading 'PASS' that you crack a smile at Bucky in the corner of the room.
