*Y/n's POV*

Sharon
"Wakey wakey sleepy head."

You lift your heavy eyelids and try to focus in the direction of her voice.

Sharon
"Hi there! How are we feeling today?"

Y/n
"Piss off."

Sharon
"Tut tut tut, do you kiss Bucky with that mouth?"

You try to lunge at her but your restraints stop you before you get too far forward. Your sudden movement however, was still enough to make her flinch.

Sharon
"Save that strength, you'll need it."

You feel the anger building within you. A physical bubbling sensation spreads from the pit of your stomach to the tips of your fingers and toes. Sharon smiles maniacally as she looks you up and down.

Sharon
"Well would you look at that, it worked after all."

You frown slightly before looking down at the orange glow beneath your skin. Retracting back towards your centre, you watch as the strange hue disappears once again.

Y/n
"What have you done to me?"

Instead of replying, Sharon stands there, beaming with pride at her creation.
Before you can continue, the light above your head switches off for the first time since you arrived. Four red siren lights begin to spin slowly in each corner of the room as a low buzzing alarm sounds.

Sharon
"Shoot. I'm gonna have to cut this short but I'll be back soon to finish our little chat."

You watch as she exits the room, leaving you alone. Knowing she'll be back soon, you take the opportunity to try and get a better idea of what the hell is inside you. Remembering the feeling from before, you try to summon the hot glow once more. Watching it radiate under your skin, you sit for a second, perplexed by its purpose. It's then that you notice the heatwaves forming above your arms. Scared, you try to retract it once more. You think for a second, still unsure of what you now are. It occurs to you, however, that this could be your chance for escape. Whatever it is that she did to you, could be useful. Before you can give it another thought, you hear the lock begin to open from the other side.
