You and Bucky are sitting next to each other, playing with each other's fingers. His eyes are closed, heads resting against each other. Yours eyes, however, are open as you stop at a station. The only other people in your carriage shuffle out silently before a group of rowdy men stumble in. You pay them only minor attention before looking back down at your hands.

Man 1
"Hey fellas, look at this! Someone's been to a costume party!"

He stumbles a little closer so you show him a quick smile of good will. Bucky's lack of acknowledgement tells you that he's fallen asleep on your shoulder.
A second man then comes to sit in the seat opposite you.

Man 2
"Fallen asleep has he? Oh, that's a shame."

You try not to pay too much attention to them but give a half assed smile every now and then to keep them at bay.

Man 2
"We're headed to another party if you wanna tag along? Don't bring the leg iron mind."

Y/n
"We're okay thanks."

You squeeze Bucky's hand once, hoping it'll wake him up. You're put at ease however when he squeezes back, showing that he's awake.
Just then, a third man comes to sit next to you.

Man 3
"You sure? Looks like we'd be a lot more fun than this one, love."

You give him an annoyed smile as you reply.

"Really, I'm fine."

Man 3
"Come on darlin'"

Your breathing goes sharp as places his hand on your knee and tries to graze it up your thigh. Before you can make a sound, you see Bucky's arm reach across and grab the man's wrist, making him let go. You look to Bucky's eyes to see him full of anger, staring right at the man. He then stands up, as does the man, and pushes his hand away causing him to shout in pain.

Man 3
"Hey, calm down! We're just tryin' to have a little fun."

Bucky
"Maybe you should treat the lady with more respect."

The man who was sitting opposite you then stands up next to Bucky in a stand off-ish nature.

Man 2
"Maybe you should keep more of an eye on your bird."

He then places a hand on Bucky's shoulder, ready to pull him round to throw a punch. He's stopped however, by Bucky twisting his hand and forcing him back. You can tell that he's holding back, trying to scare them more than cause any damage.

Man 1
"Oi! That's assault, I could have you-"

As he launches for Bucky, he quickly dodges the man and pushes him on the back, causing him to crash into the second man, as they both fall to the floor.
For a second time, the third man launches for Bucky. With ease, Bucky turns to the side and trips him. He then takes you by the hand for you to stand up. Looking over the three men in a heap on the floor, the train comes to your stop. Not taking your eyes away from the grumbling men, you hand Bucky his hat which he puts on whilst guiding you off the train. Breaking into a jog, you speed up the escalator and out of the gates to the cool fresh air.
