The Story - Sara Ramirez

The whole shoot took about 1 to 2 hours. Having Andy there to make suggestions about what she wanted whilst actually knowing what she was talking about in terms of camera settings and angles was massive help.

After finishing up with the photos, Andy invited you to stay for a decaf tea and to look at the raw pictures.

Andy
"These are incredible. They're exactly what I wanted."

Y/n
"I'm glad! Once I've finished editing them I should be able to get them back to you in about a week."

Andy
"Wow! Quick work!"

Y/n
"This is my last commission before maternity leave. I'm trying to get everything finished so I can focus on baby stuff."

Andy
"How far along are you?"

Y/n
"8 months."

Andy
"And you're still working? I think I clocked out at 6 and a half with all of mine."

Y/n
"Well it's not exactly strenuous and it turns out having a baby is expensive. Plus I love what I do, so."

Andy
"Let me guess, your man doesn't share that opinion?"

Y/n
"If he had it his way I'd be on bed rest, surrounded by shock absorbent foam."

Andy
"Yeah, James was the same."

Placing down your empty cup, you begin to close the lid on your laptop and put it in your bag.

Y/n
"So how many kids do you have?"

Andy
"Including this one, 3. The other two are at their grandparents for the day. What about you?"

Y/n
"This is my first."

Andy
"Always the most exciting. Boy or girl?"

Y/n
"We're keeping it a surprise, but I secretly hope it's a boy."

Andy
"Ah, they're usually more well mannered."

There's a short pause as you pick up your camera and laptop bags.

Y/n
"I should probably get going, thank you for the tea."

Andy
"No trouble! Thank you for the photos!"

Y/n
"I'll call you in a week or so for you to pick them up?"

Andy
"Perfect! I'll help you with your bags."
