As you predicted, it's another hour before your contractions are 5 minutes apart. That makes it 16 in total since early labour started. For first time mothers it can take anywhere from 12 to 20 hours just to get to the point of pushing so given that you're a first time mother, you're doing pretty well. Now that you've hit the 5 minute mark though, it's just a case of waiting for them to be regular for an hour.
You're sat on the sofa with Bucky and a stop watch, almost like it's a race. A carrot stick in your mouth, you tap him to signify that a contraction stopped. He then clicks start and you both sit and wait for the next one. As time passes, you both get nervous, determined not to look at the clock before it's time to click stop. Feeling the familiar tightness, you squeeze and slap Bucky's arm, partially with pain and partially to get him to stop the time quicker.
Hearing the small beep from the watch, you squint at him to hear the time.

Bucky
"4 minutes, 13 seconds!"

Y/n
"Wait seriously??"

Bucky then turns the watch towards you so you can read it yourself. You look at the numbers and then back at Bucky with relief.

Bucky
"I'll load the car..."

Rushing to his feet, Bucky runs to the front door where the bags sit. You're still sitting mid contraction when he dashes back over and catches you off guard with a long kiss.

Bucky
"I love you."

Y/n
"I love you too."

Bucky then jumps back to the front door and makes one trip to put everything in the car. Coming back for you, he helps to put you in the front passenger seat just before another contraction starts.
