I'M PROUD OF YOU... IS THE MOST PAINFUL WORDS I HEARD FROM HER

Our love story started when we were high school.

They said it was just a puppy love, but now that we are on our first year college, and still going strong, our relationship is almost perfect, like what everyone said.

Well, sometimes we fight but we can still find a way to fix it before we sleep on our own.

I will never let my girl sleep with heavy heart just because we fight in some big or small things. I love her, even though sometimes we can't understand each other.

There are some people who envy our relationship, and they should be... because I am lucky to have her, I am really contented and happy with Kylie.

Walang nag cheat sa aming dalawa, I never get attractive with any other girls. Wala eh, siya lang.

"Mahal... focus." I looked at her.

Now we're graduating college students. She's taking nursing while me is taking accountancy.

Sometimes it's hard, because we're both always busy... but Kylie always make a way for us to meet.

I stared at her for two minutes, and she noticed it.

"Why, Drey? Is there something wrong?" I shook my head.

"None."

I can feel that something changed between us, but I can't just figure it out.

We're seven years in a relationship. Mahal ko pa rin naman siya diba? I don't want to waste those memories I created with her.

I'm starting to confuse... wala naman akong ibang nagugustuhan na babae, why I act like this?

Or I'm just tired?

"Pang siyam na buntong hininga na 'yan, Drey. Spit it out, you know you can always have me, right?" Her voice is gentle as usual.

I just nodded my head.

"Maybe I'm just tired, mahal. We're graduating and I am preparing too for my board exam to become CPA. I'm pressured." I felt her hands touching mine.

She smiled.

"And I will always be there for you, mahal," she assured.

I should be happy, but I don't feel anything right now. What the hell is wrong with me?

"Go back to your house, marami ka ring gagawin diba?"

"Dito lang muna ako, you are not okay. I will be always here with you despite of hectic sched."

I deeply sighed.

"Just go, Kylie. Ayokong makasira sa pag-aaral mo, okay? Just like what you've said, we need to focus... we are graduating students."

I felt her stiffened.

"Y-You are... pinapaalis mo na ako? You always want my attention, before. Why now?" I glanced at her again.

I can see her tired and those dark circle under her beautiful eyes. I know she's tired studying like me.

"I just want you to rest," I lower down my voice.

"But I am already gaining my rest when I am with you," she desperately whisphered.

"Kylie..."

And she ended up going home early.

Indeed, there's a change in our relationship. I don't know what is it.

Our last meeting is our graduation. Sa harap ng marami masaya at going strong pa rin ang relasyon namin... but little did they know, may kung anong lamat na ang namamagitan sa amin ni Kylie.
