I rerouted my eyes around the hospital. Ang daming pasyente, hindi na rin namin malaman sino ang uunahin.

There's an incident at maraming napahamak at sugatan.

"D-Doc please maawa po kayo. Naghihingalo na ang anak ko..."

"Ma'am marami po ang kritikal na buhay. This is an incident. There's no available surgeon to operate your son. I'm so sorry po."

Napapikit ako nang mariin nang makita ko ang isang nanay na halos magmakaawa sa lahat ng makikita niyang naka white coat.

"You know that we're just residents... we can't be a surgeon in charge in the operation. Let's go, ganito ang buhay nating mga Doctor. May mamatay at mamatay pa rin, we're not a God and give a miracle."

I calm myself. I remembered my Girlfriend, and everything that I tell her that I will save a life no matter what happen. I am Doctor and I will save a life.

And this is a life and death situation.

"Archon! Pwede kang makulong sa ginagawa mo!" sigaw ng kasama ko nang makita niya ako patungo sa nanay na nagmamakaawa.

I smiled at her, at hinawakan ko ang balikat niya.

"Prepare. I'll be the one who will be the surgeon in charge..." Then I looked at her "Don't worry Nay, I'll be the one who will operate him."

We're now on the operating room with my team.

"Scalpel," I uttered, and one of my team gave it to me.

It's starting...

I closed my eyes. This is what I want. It's now or never.

I remembered my Girlfriend, pwede sana siyang mabuhay no'n, kung naoperahan lamang siya... kaso sumabay din sa isang accident at hindi nabigyang pansin ang Girlfriend ko.

I pleaded, and I begged every doctor that I saw, but no one hear me.

I saw myself on the mother of this man that i'll operate.

After hours, me together with my team go out with the operating room.

"Doc ano pong nangyari?" I gave her a small smile.

"Successful. He's safe now." Nakita kong lumuha siya.

"Doc! Good news!" Nagtaka ako nang may pulis ang lumapit sa akin.

Iniwan ko ang Nanay ng pasyente ko at sumama sa pulis para makapag usap.

"What is it?" I asked.

"We already found out kung sino ang salarin sa pagkamatay ng Girlfriend mo Doc!"

I got shocked. But when I realized what he said, I felt the tears on my eyes.

Finally! God! I can get the justice of my Girlfriend.

Hindi ko mapigilan na mapaluha. Someone raped and stabbed her multiple times... nakita ko na lamang ang Girlfriend ko na naghihingalo na, nadala ko pa siya sa hospital but she didn't make it.

And now, I can have the justice for her!

"Tell me! Sino siya? What's his name?" I clenched my jaw. Nabuhay muli ang galit na dalawang taon kong tinago sa aking sarili.

"Andie Ramonte yung name Doc, and he's here because of the accident. Small world right, Doc?"

I felt my body stiffened. Did I hear it right, right.

"A-Andie Ramonte?" I clarified and he nodded.

Nang makumpirma ko ay halos pagbagsakin ako ng langit at lupa.

What I have done? Giving up my profession as a Doctor just to save him. I saved the man who raped and killed my Girlfriend.
