EXCHANGE GIFT: WISHLIST OF ROSE

I opened the small paper kung saan nakalagay ang wishlist ng nabunot ko sa exchange gift for our christmas party next week.

Code name: Rose

GAWIN MO LAHAT PARA I-CRUSHBACK AKO NI JACOB CRIUS VALDERAMMA!

Pero agad na nangunot ang noo ko sa nabasa ko. It's a capslock like she's shouting and desperate while writing this.

What the actual fck!? Mapaglaro talaga ang tadhana at ako pa mismo ang nakabunot sa papel na 'to.

I looked around to see if there's someone to be a suspect of who's the owner of this paper.

And I just became frustrated, dahil wala akong mahula kung sino siya.

"Pre, sino nabunot mo?" my friend asked me.

"Nothing."

"Sungit!" Then he laughed while patting my shoulder.

I looked once again, and there's really nothing to be a suspect.

Napatitig na lang ako sa papel. Lagot 'tong may-ari sa akin

Hindi niya dapat binagga ang nag-iisang Jacob Crius Valderamma.

But I need to investigate. What if hindi ko pala tipo yung babaeng nabunot ko?! Fck! I need to do something.

Our christmas party came. We played, we talked, we ate, and the exchange gift also came that everyone was waiting.

Alphabetical arrange ang pagbibigay ng exchange gift at isisigaw namin ang codename ng nabunot namin para maibigay ang regalo.

Nauna ang mga babae and later on kami ng mga lalaki, and since alphabetically arrange ako ang last na magbibigay ng gift.

Natanggap ko na ang regalo ko. And now the wait is finally over, it's my turn to give my gift.

Lahat sila ay napatingin sa akin. I looked at the girl who's sweating, kinakabahan siguro dahil siya na lang din ang hindi nakakatanggap ng regalo.

Nilabas ko ang nakarolyong cartolina na color red. Nilapag ko 'yon sa harap ng makakatanggap ng regalo ko.

Binuklat ko iyon at med'yo mahaba pa ito.

Everyone jaw's just drop when they read what's written on the paper that I place in front of her.

I kneeled infront of her and get the small boquet of flowers.

"Can I court you Audrey Guerrero?" Iyon ang nakasulat sa cartolina na nababasa rin ng lahat.

Her eyes grew bigger, and I saw her cheeks burned into red... she's blushing! And IT'S BECAUSE OF ME.

"W-Why? Yes, I like you but did you just do this because this is the wishlist that I've wrote?" I shooked my head and smiled once again.

"Nalaman ko na kung sino nabunot ko."

"Paano?"

"Well the letter that I always receive is from you, right? Hindi ko alam nung una, pero yung mga papel na pinagsusulatan mo, it smells rose. You smell rose, your favorite is rose." Then I handle her the small boquet of roses.

"A-ahm..."

"Well, I admit torpe ako. Matagal na rin kitang gusto, at hindi ko alam na yung taong gusto ko pala ay gusto rin ako. And what's your wishlist again? Don't need to crush you back because I am insanely in love with you, and all I need to do now is to court you and be my girlfriend."

Nakarinig ako ng mga samut-saring mga bulungan at mga tili galing sa classmates ko.

"And I repeat again. Can I court you Audrey Guerrero?"

"Oh my God! Yes! You can court me Jacob Crius Valderamma! This is the best gift that I never think in my entire life that I will receive!

I smiled. "Well, this is also the best gift that I gave to someone."

We hugged each other, at natawa na lang kaming pareho ni Audrey dahil sa pare-pareho at sabay-sabay na sigaw ng mga classmate ko, "SANAOL!"
