THE PERSON WHO'S REINCARNATED IS MY HUSBAND'S LOVER

I'm 55 years old and my husband is 56 years old, but this is the very first time that he cheated on me.

I know my husband loves me, even though he's not my great love.

Maybe this is my Karma for hurting him years ago, but I can't help myself to know who's this woman who is sneaking around to my husband, it's disrespectful on my part as a wife.

So I investigate it.

"Ma'am she's Caroline, 24 years old—" I cut the guy I payed for the information.

"A what? 24 years old? Are you sure? Is that really my husband's lover?" And he confidently nodded.

He continued telling me all the details about that woman named Caroline.

After that, I watched her from a far. But when I saw her for the first time, I felt a pang of pain in my heart, I felt something different that I can't even name nor describe.

And those days, weeks and months that I watched her, I always caught Caroline with my husband. I saw how they were happy with each other not minding their age gap.

At sa bawat araw na minanmanan siya nakita ko ang maraming pagkakatulad naming dalawa. Maybe my husband see her to me.

When we have our first interaction...

"Caroline," I muttered her name.

I felt different emotion that I can't never name.

"Call me Aiena. Let's sit, we need to talk but first we need to order our food."

I call the waiter. I shifted my eyes to Caroline to ask her order so I can tell it to the waiter, but when she told me the food she wants, my jaw just drop. I'm still surprise.

"That's my favorite food." She smiled sweetly.

I told my order, my usual favorite dish that I always eat, same with the girl in front of me.

Until now, I can't still accept the fact that we really have similarities, kahit sa mga simpleng bagay ay pareho pa rin kami.

I even looked at her dress and what she were wearing; we also have the same taste in the fashion.

Is it just me? Is it just coincidence? Or she is just lowkyly copying me to get my husband? I don't know, i'm confuse!

While eating, we talk. I asked her questions to know more about her.

"You already knew that I am the wife of the man you are dating now." I saw how she stopped.

I continue talking because she didn't say anything. "Why my husband? You have 32 age gap, why him? Why date a guy who's with the same age as yours, kahit yung malapit na lang sa edad mo. Why my husband?"

"Ah, Miss Aiena, I'll go straight to the point. I don't know either to myself, I just found my heart beating fast for him. You know, in my age, I felt like this is not me, like this body is not for me. Kahit ang mga taong nakapaligid sa akin, they are confuse because I don't act and think with my same age. And when I met him— your husband, I found myself, I know more about myself, para pa ngang mas kilala niya pa ako kaysa sa sarili ko." She laughed without humor.

I bit my lower lip. I don't know. Everything I searched seems true.

"When you saw me... do you, perhaps... ahm, felt something to me?" Nakakahiya itong ginawa ko. After all, ako pa rin ang mas matanda sa aming dalawa.
