After spending some time with Wangji and Wuxian, I decided to go get some books for Wuxian. He needed to keep himself entertained enough for a few days to let his body rest. I decided to do some research in the forbidden library first for a while. Once inside, I went to the cultivation section of the room. I know the basic things about the golden core.

Golden cores can store and control spiritual energy. The core forms after a certain point of cultivation, by using the body as a crucible to cultivate the core. After the formation of their golden core, the cultivator's level increases at a rapid speed; without a golden core, a cultivator can only be a low-end cultivator.

I found a few on internal Alchemy, it seemed to have a connection to the golden core. I need to know more about the golden core in order to help Wuxian so I decided to check it out. Cultivators are practitioners of martial and mystical arts who strive to become powerful and increase their longevity.

It is important to understand that golden core is actually a term derived from Daoism and Chinese internal alchemy. It involves cultivating one's Essence, Qi and Spirit through Daoist cultivation practices and then fusing the three to create the Golden Elixir (golden core).

In ancient China, Essential Matter, Vital Breath (Qi) and Spirit were regarded as the "root of Spiritual Nature and Bodily Life". Accordingly, the Theory of Inner Alchemy was gradually incorporated with the Theory of Spiritual Nature and Bodily Life.

When reading this, I had thoughts. Wei Wuxian still had spiritual energy running through him. He didn't lose his core like Jiang Wanyin. It didn't get crushed, it was removed. So I wondered if there was a chance for him to make a new core if he tried the basic methods of cultivating. I had to check through his spiritual passage ways to really know. I would have to really pay attention to see if there is a way.

I put the booms back and went back to the main library to look for books for Wei Wuxian to read. I found books on talismans and charms, I found a couple books on the dizi if he chooses to read them. I doubt he would read it, but I get a book on different methods of meditation as well. I got a few other books that I felt he'd be interested in and went back to the Jingshi.

This time, Wuxian was the one who let me inside, "Xichen-Ge," he greeted.

"Hello A'Xian, I brought some books for you," I said and set them on the table, "where is Wangji?"

"Master Lan wanted to meet with him," he answered.

"Mnn," I said, "is it alright if I check something? I did a little bit of research while I was at the library and I want to check your spiritual passage ways... would you let me?"

"Um, sure...okay," he said and sat at the table with me.

"It will only take a moment," I told him.

Wuxian gave me his hand. I then channeled some energy to check through his passage ways. They were clear, and the spiritual energy was soft. Reaching his dantian, I checked very carefully and thoroughly. It turns out, there is some slight damage to his dantian. It is able to rebuild a core but the damage to his dantian needs to be fixed first. I can feel the small vein wanting to let out its energy but the damage has it clogged.

I then let him go, "your dantian is a bit damaged...and it is painful...it is what is hurting you the most," I told him.

"I don't think anyone can do anything about it," he said.

"Shufu might...as I checked, if you can repair your dantian, you can build a new core. The small vein that is used to produce the core, due to the damage, the vein is clogged. If we can heal you, you can have a new core. That way, you never have to worry about telling your Shidi. Shufu might have a way to help you...the golden core will be very helpful to you in recovering. Once you are also cleansed, we can help you properly take care of the amulet," I explained.
