Chapter 98

Nie Mingjue and Lan Xichen stood in front, leading the group to the gate entrance of the Moling Su Sect. The two disciples that were standing at the gate, seemed stunned by the sudden arrival of the Lan Sect and several Nie Sect disciples with their sect leaders. Wei Wuxian stood beside Wangji. Wangji could feel Wuxian's anxiety rush through him in waves. He held onto Wuxian's hand to let him know he was there for him.

Soon enough, Su MinShan (Su Shi), appeared at the gate with his sword at his waist and a guqin in his hand, "what is the meaning of this?" Su She asked.

"We have come to speak with you," Nie Mingjue said, "if you do not cooperate, we will not hesitate to get hostile."

"What is it you want to discuss?" Su Shi asked and looked at Wuxian, "turning him over finally?"

Lan Wangji immediately stood in front of his husband, "no," Wangji said.

Su She's face paled at the sight, "I did not realize the notorious Hanguang Jun was a cut-sleeve...and with the Yiling Patriarch of all people."

"That is Yueguang Jun, for your information," Wuxian corrected, "surrender or we will fight."

"Like you could win against me," Su She said and started playing an eerie tune on his guqin.

Wuxian reacted immediately and summoned vines from the earth below. The vines tangled and tied Su She in place, causing him to stop playing. One of the vines curled around his guqin and snapped it in half.

"What sorcery is this?" Su She asked angril.

"Earth cultivation, it works a lot better then resentful energy," Wuxian answered and looked at Xichen, "I think the rest is up to you two?"

Xichen smiled, "nicely done," he said, "and you were worried."

"I have my family beside me," Wuxian said taking Wangji's hand, "I may always have that fear of being alone but with my Lan Sect family, I do not have to worry about that."

Xichen nodded and patted Wuxian's shoulder, "glad you finally figured that out."

With that, the disciples from the Moling Su sect were soon restrained with more of Wuxian's vines. Since they were all bound, it gave others the opportunity to seal their spiritual energy. Wangji and Wuxian took a could disciples to explore the sect for anything they may find suspicious or unusual. As they walked through the sect, Wangji and Wuxian did not miss the details of the sect, all in which have similar characteristics from the Lan Sect.

"Talk about copying the Lan Sect," Wuxian said, "the library even looks the same...if they have a forbidden chamber and it is in the same location as yours, then Su She figured it out. No one other then your main family should know about it."

Wangji nodded as the two entered the library. Though the library looked identical, it had less books then the Lan Sect's library. Wangji then checked around to see if they had a secret chamber...and they did...in the exact same spot at Gusu's library. Xichen had just entered the library when the two found it. He started to see that Su She has a lot of things he is hiding.

As they searched the hidden room, Wei Wuxian spotted a strange group of papers all piled into one corner. He went over and started to search through it. When he saw a blueprint for the Yin Hu Fu, screams immediately filled his head.

"Ahh!" Wei Wuxian fell to his knees and held onto his head.

"Wei Ying?!" Wangji yelled and bolted over to him.

Lan Xichen was right behind him. Wangji could feel the resentful energy in the area and knew that it was affecting Wuxian. That was when Wangji used his special ability that helped block out resentment and sent it over to him. The screaming subsided but Wuxian was now in the middle of a panic attack. Lan Xichen let his brother deal with Wuxian as he was the best at helping him now, and looked through the papers that Wuxian found.

Seeing the plans for the Amulet and then there were battle plans and locations in Nightless City where arrays were set up. Xichen did not know what type of arrays but he had a feeling it was not good. He took the papers and put them in a Qiankun pouch, as he can go back to them. When he focused back to Wangji and Wuxian, he saw that Wangji was transferring energy to Wuxian, through kissing. He forgets sometimes that Wangji could do that.

Wangji pulled away from kissing Wuxian and looked into his eyes, "how are you feeling now?" He asked.

"Better," Wuxian said as Wangji helped him stand up, "I think there was a trap set on those. Anyone who tried to touch them, would get attacked with resentment...which was what happened to me."

"I took them and will look through them with Da-Ge. I want you two to be with us if it is okay with you. If you can handle it anyway," Xichen explained.

Wuxian nodded, "of course, the plans for the Amulet they had...it was not quite accurate but it is still useful to them if they have the missing yin shard...since they have these notes, I am guessing they do."

"Alright," Xichen said, "why don't you want Wangji head back to Cloud Recesses? You should not overdo it. Da-Ge and I will look through the library here and the main hall."

Wuxian was about to deny him when Wangji spoke first, "I will take him home. If you need anything, send a butterfly my way."

"I will," Xichen said, "go."

Wangji basically dragged Wuxian out. Wei Wuxian didn't even get a chance to get a word in and he decided that he did not want to try. With Wangji, he could not really argue. Wangji was very stubborn, especially about Wei Wuxian's health.
