Lan Xichen stood up from his seat and went to sit beside Wei Wuxian. Wuxian, with tears streaming down his cheeks, looked at him as he sat down. Lan Xichen pulled Wei Wuxian into a hug. The hug felt so nice to Wuxian. It let him know that he was still accepted here. Lan Wangji, moved to sit on the opposite side of him and joined into the hug. Wuxian let out a sob as the two brothers let Wuxian cry.

They sat there hugging him, holding him, comforting him, and just let him cry. They wanted to let him get it out. They knew that they needed to say something but they wanted Wuxian to calm down first. They did not mind if they were to sit there holding him all day and they'd speak to him the next day. They did not want to let go of Wuxian. Wuxian did not want them to let him go either.

"Will you forgive me?" Wuxian asked in a whispered voice.

Lan Wangji placed a kiss on Wuxian's cheek, "I forgive you, Love," he said, "will you forgive me? Will you give me a chance to fix my mistakes with you?"

"I can't leave you, Lan Zhan," Wuxian whispered, "I am so sorry."

"It is okay," Wangji told him and kissed his cheek again, "but you are not the one to be apologizing. You and I agreed that saying thank you and I'm sorry was not necessary between us. I did not notice, as your husband and soul-bond, that you were struggling this much. You really know how to mask your feelings. Please be more open with me. We cannot fix things if we don't talk about it or we do not know what is wrong. I am sorry that I made you feel that way. I will spend the rest of our lives making it up to you. If you will let me."

"Mnn," Wuxian nodded.

Wangji huffed out a chuckle, "that is my line."

Wuxian giggled, "I stole it."

"I will let it slide, just this once," Wangji teased.

"Mnn," Wuxian nodded.

Wangji stared at Wuxian. Wuxian laughed a little louder this time. Xichen smiled fondly at the two beside him. The switch in behavior was quick, so Xichen did not let that go unnoticed. He still worried about how Wuxian was feeling. He felt bad that he did not know of his struggles recently and when he tried to explain it before, it seemed as if it was just shoved aside. It was not Xichen's intention to do that, as he has been busy with the upcoming information that he has come across. He needed to work on his time management better.

Yes, he has a sect to run and care for, but to Wangji and Wuxian, he was the most important person to them. Wei Wuxian may have his sworn siblings in Yunmeng, and there may be Lan Qiren as well, but it was true. Lan Xichen was their only guardian. Especially to Wuxian, as he was never treated fairly growing up, and he never got a chance to understand real family and siblings.

"A'Xian, I am sorry if it seems that I have been lacking towards you. It was never my intention," Xichen said.

"Xichen-Ge, you have a sect to run and a lot of people to care for. I do not blame you," Wuxian told him.

Xichen felt relieved that he was called Xichen-Ge again. He didn't know why, but when it was just them, he found it strange when Wuxian calls him Zewu Jun now. He knows that if the name Zewu Jun, comes out of Wuxian like that again, he is upset.

"I know, but I told you that I would keep you both informed about what is happening nowadays," Xichen explained, "with the most recent events, there were scripts and blueprints we came across and you helped us out by knowing what they were and how to read them. I need to be more considerate of that."

"It's okay," Wuxian said.

"Huan-Ge, why don't we get a building made just for Wei Ying. He can work on his talismans, charms, create new things and maybe even teach students about what he knows," Wangji suggested.

"That is too much," Wuxian said.

"I like the idea though," Xichen said, "it would be built so it is explosion proof and can handle your abilities. It would be safer than potentially, accidentally blowing up the Jingshi."

Wuxian laughed, "or the Hanshi?"

"That too," Xichen told him, "I will speak with Uncle about this and we can discuss plans for it...maybe even let Wangji design it, as he knows you best. It could be something to officially welcoming you into the sect as a member of the family."

"I suppose I cannot stop you as I feel you will do it anyway," Wuxian said.

"Do you not want a place of your own to work?" Wangji asked.

"It's not that..." Wuxian said and looked down at his hands in his lap again.

"You feel undeserving of it," Xichen said, finishing Wuxian's sentence, "you deserve it more than anything, A'Xian. Wangji and I will continue to tell you how much you are worthy of good things. Even if we have to tell you this forever, we will. Believe it or not, but you work hard. You create incredible charms and talismans. You created a lure flag and the compass of evil. Those two things are good tools.

Yes, the Yin Hu Fu was dangerous, but you created it, which is something no one else could potentially think of. You have done things no one else has. You mastered the use of resentful energy, even though it hurt you to use it. You managed to develop a new golden core, and you are immortal now, along with Wangji. You both are soulmates and have a bond that only exists once in a millennia. You are special, and you have done incredible things. You even crafted Chenqing, and she is an amazing Dizi that you made."

Wuxian felt his face get warm from all of the compliments he was receiving, "ugh, okay I think I get it," Wuxian said.

"Oh, there is also the fact that you created your own sword style. You know Yunmeng's style and used some of it to blend into a style that fits you and Suibian. Not a lot of cultivators can do such things, especially at your age. It takes a lot of time to learn a new style let alone create one," Xichen explained.

"The sword techniques you use were invented by you?" Wangji asked, "would you teach me? I can teach you the Lan Sect's style...maybe you and I can make a style of our own."

"Really?" Wuxian asked, "you want to learn my style?"

Wangji nodded, "I do...what do you say?"

"Sure," Wuxian said, "but if we create a style, I'd have to teach you Yunmeng's style as well as it is partially used in my personal style. We could use Yunmeng and Gusu's styles to make something new...but I want Xichen-Ge apart of this. It can be a family thing between the three of us."

"Sure," Wangji agreed and they looked to Xichen.

"I suppose I could learn something new," Xichen said in agreement, "what would we name this new style of ours anyway?"

"Sān Jiàn (Three swords)?" Wuxian questioned quietly.

Wangji smiled, "I like that name."

"Sān Jiàn?" Xichen thought out loud, "I like it too."

"We can work on that sometime in the future," Wuxian said, "Baoshan told me that she wanted to see those scripts when you have the chance to show her. She looked very concerned when I told her about the array. Especially when I told her that Meng Yao was looking to get me into this. She might know how to stop him. If that is the case, we may be able to win this fight faster then we expected."

"We can visit her tomorrow," Xichen said, "I think the three of us could spend the rest of the day together. What do you think?"

"Okay," Wuxian agreed, "but what would we do?" Wangji and Xichen looked at each other and then at Wuxian, "what?"

Wangji poked Wuxian's side while Xichen poked his other side. Wuxian squealed, as they teamed up on him. Wangji wrapped his arms around Wuxian's waist to keep him from moving away from them, and Xichen kept poking at him.

"Not...fair!" Wuxian said between laughs. Wangji squeezed Wuxian's side again. Wuxian was laughing so hard that he could barely breathe. Xichen and Wangji stopped to let Wuxian catch his breath, "so unfair!" Wuxian said again.

"We know," Xichen said.
