"A'Ying, Wangji, do you wish to sit with Lan Xichen and I while we discuss the scriptures you found in the Moling Su Sect?" Baoshan asked.

"If it is okay with you both," Wuxian replied and looked at Wangji, "do you want to talk about this?"

"Mnn," Wangji responded with a nod.

"I appreciate you asking me this time," Wuxian said to Baoshan and Xichen.

"I think it is something that we have to improve on. Asking you is the the best thing we can do, unless you prefer to talk about these things in general and we do not have to ask you," Xichen explained.

"I think I like that you ask me," Wuxian told him, "it lets me know that you want me involved."

"A'Xian, you are a very smart and talented cultivator. I'm sorry that we, at the Lan Sect, made you feel that way" Xichen told him, "We want to sit down with you in the near future to talk about what we can do to improve that. Having you apart of this discussion of the scriptures we found, only seems fair as you are the one who actually found them. You were also the one who explained what the array was actually to be used for. You are my brother's husband, and my brother-in-law, I always want you to know that you are important to him and to me."

Wei Wuxian nodded and smiled at him, "thank you," he said, "so, let's talk then."

"So there is a way to stop this array Meng Yao successfully activates it," Baoshan says, "it would require a lot of spiritual from, me, A'Ying and Wangji as we are immortals and our spiritual powers together can stop it. It will just cause the three of us to be drained of our energy for a while, and would require a year in seclusion to replenish it. If we can get rid of the array before it is activated, it would be a better scenario."

"We would just need to ruin the array marks, correct?" Wangji asked.

"Yes," Wuxian replied, "as the arrays are usually either carved or drawn, it would be simple. Say it was carved, I could use earth cultivation to break it apart. If it was drawn, depending on what was used, wind or water could be used."

"Or Wangji could easily just use chord assassination to break it before it is activated," Baoshan stated.

"You know chord assassination?" Xichen asked.

"Mnn," Wangji replied with a nod, "I learned it after visiting Lan Yi's spirit the the cold cave. Wei Ying was there at the time."

"That day you two disappeared and returned with a yin shard...that was what happened?" Xichen asked.

"I remember Lan Yi telling us that she regrets hurting her best friend," Wuxian said and looked at Baoshan, "she told us about the Yin Iron, Xue Chonghai, Xuanwu the slaughter, and she mentioned how she felt she ruined her relationship with Wai Po. She was surprised to see I was a descendant of yours."

"I forgave her a long time ago," Baoshan said, "but going back to chord assassination, I saw he used it on Xuanwu when he killed it with A'Ying. He is a very talented cultivator from your sect."

Wangji felt his ears and the back of his back get warm. He was praised often but this time it felt a bit different as it came from Baoshan. Getting such a compliment from her was something that Wangji never expected.

"He worked hard," Xichen told her, "after our parents passed away, he spent a lot of time isolating himself and cultivating alone. I would try to get him to interact with others but he would not. He'd usually just speak with either me or Shufu. Even then, it was not often. It was only when he met A'Xian, that he changed so drastically."

"Really?" Baoshan asked, "well, I remember Wei Changze always being a reserved man, but he wasn't always. He was usually very different around Cangse. I remember when I asked Wei Changze what he thought of my daughter when he first met her."
