"Xichen-Ge, I get you room here as well, but knocking would be nice," I told him.

"Why would I knock to enter my own room?" He asked with a smirk on his face.

"You want to go there?" I asked tauntingly.

"Where?" He asked.

"I don't think I need to explain," I said calmly resting my head on Lan Zhan's shoulder and poked his side.

Lan Zhan squirmed a bit with a chuckle, "don't do that," he said.

"Mmm," I said and liked him one more time, "okay, now I'm good."

Lan Zhan squirmed again and wrapped his arms around me. My arms were caged in his hold, "I said, don't," he said in a flirtatious tone.

"You liked it," I said in a whisper.

"No," he said and shoved his face into the crook of my neck.

I laughed slightly, "My Lan Zhan, you are so cute," I told him and patted his head gently, then looked at Xichen-Ge, "so, do you know what I meant now?"

"Loud and clear," he said and sat down across from us at the table, "Yueguang Jun."

I blushed, "I am also proud of Lan Zhan for saying so much in front of everyone. It was very brave of you," I praised.

"I only did it for Wei Ying, otherwise I don't like it. Don't want to talk that much in front of others again," he said.

I laughed, "baby steps," I said, "can you let my arms free now?"

"Will you behave?" He asked.

"I will," I agreed.

Lan Zhan loosened his grip enough only for my arms to be freed. Otherwise his arms still remained around me. I didn't mind. I felt, warm, safe, loved, and comfortable just being held by him.

"I may never let you let me go," I told him, "I'm quite comfortable."

"Then I will not let go," he said.

"You two are doing very well all of a sudden," Xichen-Ge said.

I smiled a bit, "after I destroyed the amulet, seeing Lan Zhan so angry...I don't want to see that again. I felt terrible."

"I promise I won't yell at you ever again," he said, "I will speak to you not yell. I just wish you let us help you."

I nodded, "it's gone now. So I think it's best to maybe, move past it," I suggested.

"Good idea," he said and placed a kiss on my cheek.

"Lan Zhan, Xichen-Ge is right there," I told him.

"I know," he said.

"I don't mind, as long as it doesn't go too far," Xichen-Ge said, "it's good to see you both happy."

"So, where do you think Jin Guangyao went?" I asked him.

"Honestly, I don't know. Others may think that Da-Ge or me would know places he could hide but we don't. Neither of us have seen him since the night hunt at Mount Baifeng," Xichen-Ge explained.

"Any news on the man behind the mask who tried to kill me?" I asked.

"No, haven't heard anything on him either...but since everyone at the Conference knows you no longer have the amulet or the means to make a new one, anything else that happens that involves corpses and puppets is no longer pointed to you. So who ever didn't show up, will be a potential suspect," Xichen-Ge explained.

"So, every other disciple that didn't come?" I asked, "that's a lot of suspects."

"Didn't see Moling Su Sect here at the conference," Lan Zhan stated, "and Su She, who is their sect leader, is close with Jin Guangyao."

"He has some motives as well," I said, "he was banned from the Lan Sect, correct?"

"He betrayed the sect by giving our Lan Sect secrets to the Wen Sect during the Ambush, he shot you in the arm with an arrow in Xuanwu's cave, he also caused you to almost drown at Biling Lake during the Water Ghoul incident," Lan Zhan said.

I thought back, he was the one who shot me? He almost caused me to drown? I remember him always trying to be like Lan Zhan, trying to gain his attention or over power him. It wouldn't have worked because his cultivation is a joke.

"Makes sense to have motives then," I said, "as for Jin Guangyao, what would his motives be? I don't know if it is similar to Jin Guangshan. He just wanted power. I think Jin Guangyao has a different motive...he has been in dispute with Chifeng Zun for a while, he has issues with the Jin Sect, and he is targeted a lot for bullying. Trust me, I hear what people say. I know I was bullied by I didn't let that be my motives for revenge. I didn't care what people thought of me, I still don't...to some degree...though being bullied enough and being called son of a prostitute is different from being called son of a servant."

"You also had people in your corner for support," Lan Zhan stated.

"I though Jin Guangyao has some people. At first, Chifeng Zun took him into his sect and made him his second. Chifeng Zun was then betrayed when Jin Guangyao killed a member of the Nie Sect without blinking an eye...I was at the sect when it happened. So someone as just as Chifeng Zun wouldn't just push Jin Guangyao away for no reason," I explained, "he also had Xichen-Ge. I thought the two had a pretty good relationship but there might be some things that Jin Guangyao used Xichen-Ge for to get information from..."

"I think you have valid points," Xichen-Ge said, "even though I showed him kindness, he did ask some things that make me question some things between us. The fact that I know he is hiding something is enough for me to lose complete trust in him."

I nodded, "you still have Chifeng Zun, and your sect," I told him.

"Look who is handing out comfort now," Xichen-Ge said.

"I learned from the best," I said.

I heard Lan Zhan growl into my ear, "oh Lan Zhan, now now, I love you. I have you to hold me and love me like this."

"Mnn," he nodded, "you're mine."

I laughed, "I am yours."

"Good," he said.
