I sent a letter to Jiang Wanyin of Wei Wuxian's "injuries." I told him we have been doing everything to help him and care for him. Jiang Wanyin had responded saying he at least wants to see his brother at the hunt. He can come back with me after as well, as I told him we have really good healing methods. He was well aware of that, so he agreed. I also guessed that his sister has been talking with him about Wei Wuxian.

I honestly wish Wei Wuxian would sit down and talk with them, but knowing Jiang Wanyin's temper, it makes it difficult for Wei Wuxian to do that. We were heading out, and Wei Wuxian was flying with Wangji this time. He had his Chenqing at his waist, despite not being able to use spiritual energy. He said if he really has to, in a dangerous situation, he will use Chenqing. I can at least respect that.

We landed just outside the entrance to the grounds. Multiple sects were already here. Phoenix Mountain, I do have to say has really good prey, but it can be challenging. Wei Wuxian stood beside Wangji with the other heirs and head disciples as the opening ceremony began. A-Yao was talking about warming up with an archery competition, and when we turned to the targets, there were Wen disciples in chains in front of them...I thought we had them all away from the Jin's?

I glanced over at my brother and I saw the anger in Wei Wuxian's face beside him. Jin Zixuan decided to take the challenge. He hit the middle target of five in the bullseye. I then saw Wei Wuxian whispering something to Wangji. Wangji at first had a look of sincerety and then a look of disinterest. What ever happened, Wei Wuxian pouted at him and walked forward. He was injured and he decided to take a shot?

I saw him removing a band from around his arm and then tied it around his eyes. I then watched as he grabbed the bow from the Jiang Disciple, and five arrows at once. Wei Wuxian stood there for a moment like he was checking the area with his other senses before spinning around and shot all five arrows at once. They hit each target at the bullseye too. Wei Wuxian told me he had good archery skills, but now I can really say that he was underestimating just how good he really was. I saw him turn to smile at his sister and then looked at me. His smile grew as I bowed my head in acknowledgment.

I then saw him look at Wangji. My brother had a small glint in his eyes. I could see the look of adoration pouring out of them. I wanted him and Wei Wuxian to work out their relationship. After the archery competition, I went over to Wangji and Wei Wuxian.

"A'Xian, did you want to stick with Wangji and me?" I asked, "or do you wish to go with your brother?"

"If it's okay, I'd rather follow you. As you know what my injuries are, I would feel comfortable with people around me who can help me if I need it," he said.

He was actually accepting our help, and it made me feel very happy, "of course, come," I said with a smile.

"Young Master Wei?" A young man from the Jin sect approached. He had an arrogant look on his face and even a bit annoyed at Wei Wuxian, "if you think you are so good, why don't you go blind throughout the entire night hunt?"

This man was Jin Zixuan's cousin, Jin Zixun, "young master Jin, please watch your mouth in front of me," I demanded, "you are not to harm him, do you understand!"

He glared at me and left with a scoff, "you Lan's think you are so much better then everyone," I heard him say.

I looked at Wei Wuxian and saw that he was upset, "don't listen to him, alright. We are here for you and you are not alone."

He looked at me, "thank you," he said and looked at Wangji, "I know you don't like physical touch but can I at least hold your arm? Or sleeve? I need some sort of stability at the moment, my head is swarming right now."

Wangji nodded and held out his hand, "hold my hand," he offered.

Wei Wuxian blinked in surprise, "really?" He asked as a smile started to appear on his face.

Wangji nodded in confirmation. Wei Wuxian took his hand and held onto him. It was like he wanted to make sure he won't leave his side. I saw that it was progress.

"Er-Ge, can I walk with you?" A-Yao asked. Da-Ge was behind him.

"Of course, would you like to as well?" I asked Da-Ge.

"Why not, someone has to keep you young ones in order," Da-Ge said.

"It's a pleasure to see you again, Chifeng Zun, and you as well Jin Guangyao," Wei Wuxian greeted.

"Young Master Wei, it's a pleasure, you have wonderful archery skills," Da-Ge told him.

"Ah, my Uncle Jiang Fengmian taught me what he knew. I just continued to practice and improve on it, but thank you," Wei Wuxian said.

"I am sorry to hear about Sect Leader Jiang and his wife. I imagine restoring Lotus Pier hasn't been easy," Da-Ge said.

"It hasn't, but my Shidi, Jiang Cheng, has been doing a wonderful job. And my Shijie as well," he said.

"Er-Ge said that you are injured?" A-Yao asked.

How did he know about that? I didn't tell him that....

"Oh, just an incident with some corpses near Gusu," Wei Wuxian said, "of course, Zewu Jun and Hanguang Jun have been very wonderful in helping me during my recovery...I've been staying in Gusu to recover. I will be home in Yunmeng soon enough."

"Well I hope your recovery goes smoothly," A-Yao said, "I must do and check others to see how they are fairing, will you excuse me."

We nodded and let him go, "just so you three know, I didn't tell him Wei Wuxian was injured...how did he know about that?"

"He tends to get information from some sort of source," Da-Ge said, "I know you have your doubts, but now you see why I am wary of him?"

I nodded, "he was the one who told me of Qiongqi Path," I said to him.

"He is up to something, and I don't know what that is," Da-Ge said.

"We should have someone we can rely on look into it," I said.

"Of course," Da-Ge said, "Huaisang is good in that department..maybe I can see what he has in mind."

I nodded. After some time, Da-Ga went on his way. I still followed along with Wangji and Wuxian. Though, Wei Wuxian was soon stopped by something that he heard nearby.
