Wangji decided that he would spend time with Wen Ning and Wen Qing at their place and have Wuxian stay with Xichen. For those three days before the small bonding ceremony, it would be like Wei Wuxian's own personal hell. Xichen found it was a better idea as it would give Wangji some time to get to know Wen Qing and Wen Ning. Also, if Wuxian were to have a moment where he breaks down, aside from Wangji, Xichen was the only other person who knew how to help him. So, Wuxian was in the Hanshi again. It was for three days but he was here.

"I feel like Hanshi and I have a special bond at this point," Wuxian said entering the home.

"Why do you say that?" Xichen asked.

"Well, the amount of talismans and charms I made here, I am surprised it still stands," Wuxian said slightly joking, "also the amount of times I teased you and said I'd burn or flood the Hanshi in revenge."

"I appreciate you not destroying my home," Xichen told him.

Wuxian chuckled, "not a problem, but I feel like I should do something to the Hanshi."

"Why?" Xichen asked.

"You did not teach me the spell," Wuxian answered, "Lan Zhan found out about the ticklish thing anyway. I feel duped."

Xichen nodded, "I apologize for my lack of the deal," he said, "as you are free now, why don't I teach you. As you are to be married in a few days anyway. Only members of the Lan Sect bloodline know of the spell and can hand it over to their spouses. I can teach you if you want."

"Really? Want me to teach you something in return?" Wuxian asked, "Baoshan told me that Cosmic Cultivation isn't just Lan Zhang special abilities. Apparently, her best friend, Lan Yi, reached immortality in secret and that was when she got her cosmic cultivation. Which means, you have it too."

"Really?" Xichen asked, "I do not know if I am even strong enough yet to wield it."

"Can I check?" Wuxian asked.

"Okay," Xichen agreed.

Wuxian knelt beside him and took his arm. He then channeled some spiritual energy through Lan Xichen to check his Qi, and his cultivation level. He was actually quite high. He could learn some things if he wanted to.

"You are strong enough to start noticing and finding your new abilities," Wuxian told him.

"Really? That is good to know," Xichen said, "I will think about it. Let me teach you the spell though."

"Okay," Wuxian agreed. Xichen spent a few hours just teaching Wuxian the basics of the spell. Since Wuxian is good with mastering charms and talismans, it will be simple for him. As the silence spell is just a charm, it takes time to learn properly, no matter how simple a charm may be.

The Silence Spell is typically used to discipline those who offend with their words. Once cast, the victim's lower and upper lips become inseparable, so that they cannot speak a single word. Its effects wear off after about half an hour, but it can also be removed by another member of the Lan Clan, or broken by force. Breaking the spell by force results in the person's lips being ripped bloody, as well as a hoarse throat for several days.

"Who am I practicing the spell on?" Wuxian asked.

"You can use me," Xichen told him, "I can break it anyway so you can practice with me."

"Uh...." Wuxian suddenly felt nervous. Practicing the spell on Xichen was nice of him to say, but Xichen was also a sect leader. He felt strange that he could use the spell on him.

"What?" Xichen asked.

"I don't know why but I am just a bit nervous to do so," Wuxian admitted.

"Why?" Xichen questioned.

"Well, you are a sect leader," Wuxian told him, "I get I am playful towards you occasionally but there are times where I feel I may have gone too far."

Xichen felt his heart soften. Wuxian did not need to feel this way with him, but Xichen found it slightly adorable, "A'Xian, you are my brother. You are okay to be playful around me. I trust you," he said. Wuxian nodded and cleared his throat. So he decided to try. It took a couple tries but he eventually got it. Xichen nodded in appraisal to him before he broke the spell himself, "just do not overuse the spell or misuse it."

"I know," Wuxian told him, "thank you for teaching me."

"You're welcome," Xichen said, "how are you feeling today. I don't think I asked you that."

"I am doing okay," Wuxian answered, "I understand this distance with Lan Zhan but I am slightly worried...as my nightmares have been coming back again. First it was the panic attacks, and now the nightmares...I don't know if it is a sign—"

"A'Xian," Xichen said, managing to stop him from talking, "you are spiraling again."

"Oops," he said.

"You are okay with me, A'Xian," Xichen reminded him, "I am the one who you were comfortable with when you first came here."

Wuxian smirked, "that is true," he agreed, "but that was before Lan Zhan and I confessed to each other."

"I am glad you both finally did," Xichen said, "and I am also glad that you two are doing so well together."

Wuxian's smile grew, "I feel like a completely different person with him," Wuxian said, "but because of him, I am finally starting to know what it feels like to feel valued."

"I'm glad," Xichen told him.

"This is probably weird for you isn't it?" Wuxian questioned.

"Not really," Xichen said, "I do not mind you telling me how my brother makes you feel. He tells me how he feels about you."

"Does he really?" Wuxian asked.

"Mnn," Xichen nodded.

"I do have to say, I think he spoils me too much," Wuxian told him.

"Why do you say that?" Xichen asked.

"He always likes to do the small things for me," Wuxian answered, "preparing the bath, getting my robes set for the next day, brushing my hair, waking me up every morning by smothering me in kisses, and he even knows how to use his—"

Wuxian stopped talking. Xichen raised his brows wondering why he stopped. Wuxian shook his head as he realized he was going to tell Xichen on just how good Wangji was with his hands and mouth. As Wuxian remained silent, Xichen started to figure out what Wuxian might have considered to say. Xichen smirked and could only shake his head.
