Oneshot 2.3

ELLA'S POV

Maaga akong nagising or rather I didn't sleep at all. Agad akong bumaba mula sa kuwarto ko at naabutan ko doon sina Alyssa at Jovelyn na naghahanda na ng pagkain namin. Agad akong lumapit sakanila.

"Good morning Elz." Bati nila sakin na sinuklian ko naman ng isang ngiti.

"Good morning too." Bati ko sakanila at hinalikan sila sa kanilang pisngi.

"Sit down Elz, malapit na matapos tu." Alyssa said tsaka nya ako inalalayan paupo.

"What's for breakfast?" tanong ko sakanila

"Just simple fried rice, sunny side up, tapa and hotdog." Jovelyn answered.

"And of course, your milk." Alyssa said tsaka nya ibinaba ang isang baso ng gatas. I smiled at her.
"Thanks." I said to them. They just smiled at me. Sakto naman na bumaba na si Mae mula sa kanyang kwarto sa taas.
"Good morning Mae. Come on. Let's have breakfast." Jovelyn said. I looked at her and she also looked at me like she wanted to tell me something. Right. She's mad at me when I told her my what ifs about my surgery which I made her be disappointed and frustrated with me. After that, she gives me a cold shoulder which I really earned. But what if... she knew what I really did? I think it will be worst.

"Uhm, I think sa cafeteria nalang ako sa hospital kakain, I am also running late." She said at lumapit sakin para halikan ako sa may sentido ko.

"Are you sure? Just eat even just a little para magkalaman ang tiyan mo. Or we can pack you your food." Alyssa said worriedly.

"It's fine. Just enjoy your day." She said and she looked at me. "Let's talk when I get back." She said na ikinatango ko naman. We really need to.

"I'd better be going. I'll see you later." She said and left the house. I mentally sighed.

"Is everything okay between you and Mae?" Alyssa asked as she sat down. Nilagyan naman ng pagkain ang plato ko ni Jovelyn bago sya umupo. Nung umupo sya ay curious din syang napatingin sakin waiting for me to answer Alyssa's question.

"It's nothing." I replied.

"There's always a thing in nothing. So come on, spill it." Alyssa said. I sighed. Minsan talaga hindi nakakatulong ang pagkamakulit nitong isa.

"Remember when we both went to see Dr. Sanchez?" I asked them. Napatango naman sila.

"Yeah what about it?" Alyssa asked again.

"Dr. Sanchez told us that she found the donor for me." Natigilan naman sila at tumingin sakin. I can see the happiness in their eyes.

"That's a good thing, right?" tanong ni Jovelyn.

"Yes, it is a good thing." I replied at tipid na ngumiti sakanila.

"Then that's great! It's a good news naman pala." Alyssa said and drink her coffee. Mabuti nga kung ganun-ganun lang yun. Nahalata siguro ni Jovelyn ang pagkatamlay ko.
