Aaron put the folder under his pillow just as the door opened and two security officers stepped into the room. He recognized the younger of the two from the security company.

"Paul, it's been a while since I've seen you."

"Hey, Aaron. How are you doing?"

"I'm good. How's the family?"

"My family is doing fine."

Aaron leaned back against the pillow and watched them inspect the room. "Did my parents send you here?"

"Yes, they did." Paul gave him a nod.

"Is there anything you need?"

"Yes, my cellphone. I can't seem to find it anywhere."

"I'll bring it to you later. Anything else?"

"No, just the phone." He'll be going home tomorrow. There was no use bringing more things to carry back home. Aaron glanced at the clock on the bedside table. He was already bored of staying in one place.

"Okay, everything is good."

"I'll bring your phone in an hour."

When he was alone, Aaron switched on the television. He scrolled through the channels until he found a movie that he liked.

The movie was almost to the end when someone knocked on the door.

"Aaron, it's me."

"Paul, you can come in."

The door opened and the security officer walked in the room. "I thought you'd be asleep."

"It's too early."

"I brought your phone." Paul handed him the phone then went over to the door. "I'll be staying with you for the rest of the night."

Paul had his back turned to him, so Aaron grabbed the paper from under his pillow.

"Why don't you watch a movie with me?" Aaron asked, while he entered Justin's number into his phone.

"It's my responsibility to guard the door. It would be inappropriate for me to neglect my job."

"It's one movie." Aaron placed the paper under his pillow. "Besides I know you're a sharp as a tack."

Paul turned around, "What are you watching?"

"Bad Boys."

"I like that movie."

Aaron grinned at him. "Take a seat."

Rita jerked awake and grabbed her gun from under her pillow. She sat up but remained still, listening. A faint popping reached her ears, so she quickly threw off the covers and walked over the window.

It was dark outside but her gaze could detect a slight movement by the tree. She quietly walked over to the table and picked up the handheld radio. She pressed the talk button then waited a second before talking.

"Andrew, are you there? Over."

"Rita, I'm here. What's going on?"

"It may be nothing but I think someone is trying to enter the premises."

"I'll get two of my men to check it out."

"Be careful. I'm going to get dress in case we need to move."

Rita hastened to the closet to fill her bag with change of clothes, a disposable phone, charger, two of her personal hand guns and extra clips. After getting dressed, she slipped her feet in a pair of Novoblast sneakers.

She was almost to the door when the alarm started blaring. A few seconds later her phone rang.

"What's going on? Why did the alarm sounded?"

"Someone bypassed the fence."

"How did they get passed the fence?"

"Rita, one of our men is missing from his post."

"Who is it?"

"Sanders."

Sanders had been recommended to join their team three months ago but Rita had been hesitant for him to work here. She had been discomfited  by his presence since he started working at the private security firm.

Although she had protested, her boss had assigned Sanders to help her protect Frieda Claxton. She had voiced her concerns to Andrew and her had expressed the same concerns.

"We need to find him." Rita took the stairs two at a time. "I'm going to get Frieda."

At the door, Rita knocked twice then three times. The door swung inward showing Freida's face. Her face was a masked of confusion.

"What is it?"

"We need to go. Grab the duffle bag and leave the suitcase."

Frieda turned away without any protest. Rita pushed the door to look in the room. She spotted sheets of paper attached to the walls of the room. Curious, she walked further into the room.

There were drawings of different face structures.

"What are these drawings?"

"I kept seeing this face in my dreams but every time I wake up I only remember the outline of the face."

Rita tore the papers from the walls and shoved them into her bag. Now wasn't a good time to try to sort this out.

"I'm ready."

"Let's go."

Rita lead the way to the back door. It was safer this way than to use the front. She sent Andrew a quick message.

A gunshot rang out just as she closed the door. She wasn't worried about her men, they were capable of taking care of themselves.

"I'm taking you to another safe house."

"How did they find us?"

Rita had an idea of who betrayed them but she didn't share her thoughts with Frieda.

"Follow me and don't look back."

With her gun in hand, she inched forward to the jeep Wrangler that was parked close to the fence. She put both bags on the backseat then got into the driver's seat. Rita searched through the glove compartment for the small remote.

She pressed a button on the remote and there was a creak before the gate slid to the side. She twisted around on the seat when an angry shout from somewhere in the yard.

Two dark-clothed figures was running towards the jeep, guns waving in their hands. Rita cranked up the engine and pealed towards the opened gate. Gunshots rang out as bullets struck the jeep.

Luckily none of the bullets hit the windows. Her fingers grappled for her phone when it started ringing.

"Did you make it out?"

"Yes, we're out."

"I didn't find Sanders but one of the intruders told me that he let them through the gate."

"I know," Rita scanned the rear view mirror but no vehicle was following behind them. "Call the boss and inform him of the situation."

"I'll meet you at the next safe house."
