Chapter 10:Change Is Coming

I was sitting at my table waiting for Jen to have lunch. I was in a better place after my weekend with Jason. So much happened. I fell in love with that man and got to finally tell him about my past. He never judged me or looked at me any different. He made me so happy and I was finally at peace. As I was day dreaming in my thoughts my phone vibrated and I saw a text notification pop up on my screen.

I laughed cause he was pose to be working. I picked up my phone and replied.

Me: Just waiting on Jen to have lunch

I laughed and locked my phone as I saw Jen walking towards the table.

"Girrrllllll what ain't happening. Me and Jason had a romantic weekend and I told him I loved him" I said sipping my lemon water
"WHAT!!! And what he say back" Jen said with her hands on her chest
"Yes I did. And he said it back thankfully. Jen I'm in love with that man. I never felt like this ever! He just makes me feel good" I couldn't help but blush while talking about him
"Damn girl you really do love him. I can see it by the way you talk about him. I'm happy for you girl" she said genuinely
"It feels so good to love someone who actually sincerely loves you back. I even told him about Lamar and my parents" Jen damn near spat her drink out.
"Oh you really do love him. I know how you feel about talking on that. How he feel about the whole baby situation"
"He's hopeful. He said we can try how ever many times I want but I'm nervous that it won't ever happen. You know how I'm dying to be a mother"
"I know and girl it will happen. You got a real man and maybe it's time. Don't give up on it" I was being more and more hopeful about getting pregnant because of my system I had in my life now. "But in order for yall to try that means yall have to be fucking" as soon as she said that I grinned and looked away.
"I knew it!!!!" She said with her mouth open
"How the hell you know Jen" I said laughing
"Because all those spots on your neck aren't mosquito bites." I didn't even realize that they were visible. I thought my hair covered it but I couldn't get anything pass Jen.
"Well yes. We did have sex. Several times" I said giving her a look
"That good huh" she asked
"Best I ever had. It was amazing. We couldn't get enough of each other" I bragged.
"Welcome to the good dick club" we both laughed as we gave each other a high five. I final had a man I could talk about who was good to me.

I sat at my desk working out details for my next event. Some months passed since I told Jason about my past and I was so glad I did cause that weighed heavy on me before. It felt good to not have that on my mind.

"Miss H, you have a guest" my assistant said over the intercom on my phone.
"Send them in please" I said back to her. I was still writing some stuff and didn't even look up.
"So I came all the way down here to see my beautiful woman and you don't even greet me" I saw Jason standing at the door with flowers in his hand
"Awwww baby I'm sorry I didn't know it was you" I said as I got up and hugged him.
"I missed you so I just thought to come see you" he said as he slid his hands down to my ass grabbing it.
"I missed you too and I'm glad you did cause I wanted to talk to you about something" I said as I sat back in my chair and pulling a chair close to me so he could sit.
"What's on your mind beautiful" he said as he looked nervous.
"It's nothing bad babe" I laughed and held his hand.
"Oh you had me scared. Thinking you goin leave a nigga or something" he said smiling.
"Never baby but I wanted to tell you that I made an appointment with a fertility specialist just to see where I'm at and if I improved any" his face lit up
"Seriously. You really wanna have my baby huh" he said pulling me on his lap
"I do baby. We been trying but nothing has happened so I just thought I should atleast give it a shot. What do we have to lose right" I said with a new attitude towards the subject
"That's my baby. We goin be positive and do whatever they tell you to do. It's goin be okay beautiful" he said as he kissed my lips.
"Can you come with me. I need you there" I asked hoping he would be free
"Nothing can keep from coming with you baby. No question" he assured me
"Thank you baby. I wouldn't even be going if it wasn't for you. I couldn't imagine doing it with you. I love you" I said as I kissed his lips over and over
"No problem beautiful. I love you more" he said kissing me back. I broke the kiss and got up and went over to my office phone.
"Jackie" I said into the intercom
"Yes miss H" she said back into the phone.
"Go head and take the rest of the day off. Lock the office when you leave out ok" I said to her staring at Jason. I wanted him so bad right there.
"Yes ma'am. Thanks miss H" I heard her get up and heard the office door close. I got up and locked my office door and went over to Jason straddling him.
"What do you say we practice just to make sure we doing it right" I whispered to him licking his neck and putting my hands under his shirt rubbing his abs.
