Chapter 30: Unbreakable

After a long eventful day at the office I was home thankfully. The conversation I had with Lamar was such a huge weight off my shoulders. Even though I didn't harbor old feelings over the past it was still good for me to express how I really felt.
"Baby" I said walking into the house and up the stairs
"I'm in the room beautiful" Jason said out as I saw a wide awake Harley in bed with him.
"Why are you still awake miss" I said walking into our bedroom sitting on the bed with them. It was 10:00 and way pass her bed time.
"Ma ma!" She said crawling off Jason's chest and to me. I couldn't help but smile as she climbed on me kissing me over and over.
"Mommy missed her angel today" I said kissing her back as she curled up on my stomach putting her hand under my shirt. I could tell she was tired.
"How was your day babe" Jason said as he came over and took off my shoes helping me in bed.
"No kiss first" I said laying against the pillows with a sleepy Harley on top of me.
"My bad beautiful" he said as he connected his lips with mines kissing me over and over again. All the filled my head was earlier. I had to tell him.
"It was ok" I said as he sat on his side of the bed facing me.
"Beautiful what's wrong" he said reading my mind. He always knew it when I had something on my mind.
"Jason promise me you won't get mad" I said already knowing he would. He just gave me this look.
"Depends on what you bout to say" he replied as he took Harley and laid her down in between us.
"Well today after one of my meetings. Someone came to see me" I said as I got up to change my clothes
"Someone like who Hue" he said wondering where I was going with this.
"My ex" I said as I looked back at him.
"Why the hell was he there and how did he know where you worked" I can tell he was upset. Jason trusted me without question but what he didn't trust was anybody who hurt or mistreated me.
"Jason I have no idea how he knew. I was eating my lunch and he just showed up" I said getting back in bed
"Why didn't you call me when you saw him" he said sternly
"For what baby. I was fine. All he did was talk"
"Hue that's not the point. I'm your husband and no man will ever disrespect you while I'm alive. He had no business showing up at your office. Period" I had to agree with him
"I know baby but I handled it. Don't worry. I just wanted to tell you so you wouldn't think I was hiding anything from you" I said as I grabbed his hands. Jason's opinion meant everything to me.
"I ain't feeling that shit Hue. Not at all but aight" whenever Jason said aight it really meant he was mad but didn't wanna talk about it anymore. He did that to appease me.
"J" I said as felt him distancing himself. When he didn't wanna talk anymore he shut down and I hated that.
"Hue I said aight ok" he said turning his back to me as he got under the covers. I knew it was more that he wasn't saying. I picked up Harley and took her room. I came back and saw Jason laying on his back looking at the wall. I could tell something was really bothering him.
"Baby talk to me. Did I do something you didn't like" I said sitting next to him. Communication between us was vital and I hated knowing that I did anything the might of hurt him or made him upset.
"Hue just go to sleep aight" he shut down on me and it broke my heart.
"I want you baby. Please talk to me" I said reaching out for him interlocking our fingers. I just stared at him as I saw him tense up. He was silent. I grabbed his face as I caressed his cheeks looking into his eyes.
"Jason" I said softly to him
"You really wanna know what's bothering me" he said without looking at me
"I do" I said honestly
"Do you still have feelings for him" he asked shocking me
"Are you crazy. You can't be serious" I said shaking my head
"That's not a answer Hue" he said to me.
"Hell no Jason. You should know that. Is that what you think" the only man in the entire world I loved was him. He never had to doubt that.
"It crossed my mind" he said. I could've gotten mad but I had to think of how he felt. Getting mad wouldn't solve anything and his feelings were important to me. I had no at all problem reminding him that he was my one and only.
"Baby you know that I love you and only you. That's exactly what I told him. I let him know that I married you because you treat me better than anyone has ever treated me. I was made for you. Nobody can ever spilt us up J. Not him not my parents nobody. You should know that" I said sincerely
"I'm sorry beautiful. I know that but I just couldn't shake that fact that he actually looked you up. Your my wife and I don't like it when men go out there way to get your attention sometimes" he said as I smiled. It was cute that he got a little jealous even though he had no reason too.
"Baby you know I'm never leaving you. You stuck with me" I said as I saw him smile. His smile made my day.
"Forever Beautiful"
"Forever J. Now come here" I said as he pulled me close rubbing my stomach
"Jason your my everything baby. I love you and no one else okay. I'll remind you of that until you get that thru your thick skull" I said looking at him. He was so handsome. He just kissed me as I let him do as he pleased. He kissed me with so much passion as he hovered over me. His tongue explored my mouth as he reached under my night shirt removing my panties. His lips never left mines. He spread my legs with his strong hands as he removed his boxers.
"I love you too Hue" he said as he broke our kiss. I laid there patiently waiting for him. He pulled off his shirt as I bit my lip.
"You like what you see" he said as I laughed. He always caught me staring at his body.
"I do and it's all mines" I said as he kissed me again. I flipped him on his back as our kiss went non stop. I was on top of him rubbing my hands all over him as he took my waist pulling me onto his hard penis. It felt so good
"Mmmmm Jason yesss" I moaned out as he moved me up and down on top of him. We were going at it and hard when all of a sudden I heard the door creek open slow.
"Da da. Da da" was all we heard as I jumped up. Harley walked towards the bed whining. I knew she must've had a bad dream.
"Jason hand me my shirt" I said still on top of him as I threw on his shirt. I got up as he put his boxers back in under the sheets.
"What's wrong princess" he said picking her up as she put her tiny hand into his.
"Monster da da" she said crying. Whenever she cried my heart broke cause I never wanted my angel to hurt. I wanted to fix anything that bothered her.
"Daddy not goin let anything hurt you baby. Stop crying princess" he said wiping her face kissing her. I watched as my heart melted. Harley saw her father as a king. She knew he could fix any and everything.
"Go to sleep. Daddy love you" he kissed her forehead rocking her in his arms. She was addicted to her father and I was glad he was there for her. I always said when I had a child I hope I had a man who could love them as much as I would but Jason with no question loved Harley endlessly. She was the other half of his heart.
I kissed her chubby cheeks as she dosed off in his arms. Once she got in bed with him it was no getting her out anytime soon.
"We goin need a rain check huh" I said smiling at him.
"I'm sorry baby" he said as he kissed me. Harley was so peaceful but Jason was super uncomfortable.
"I'll take care of that in the morning baby" I said laughing at him. I knew how much he didn't like finishing what he started but she was the only exception.
"Keep laughing Hue. We'll see who's laughing tomorrow" he said as I laid on his chest next to Harley.
"We'll see" I replied
"Go to sleep beautiful. I love you"
"I love you more" he took his free hand and massaged the sides of my stomach. That always put me to sleep. I loved my family and nothing could break what special bond we had. Nothing.
