Chapter 28: Love & Happiness

I woke up after a long passionate night with Jason to make us some breakfast. I threw on my knee length black robe as I headed to the kitchen. I was going to cook something but my stomach wanted the red velvet cake Jason didn't get a chance to eat. I got a bowl of strawberries and placed a huge piece of cake inside.
"Good morning beautiful" Jason said coming downstairs towards me.
"Hey sexy" I said kissing his cheek as he took a seat down in the chair
"What you make for breakfast" he said lookin around. Jason always knew there was food waiting for him anytime of the day. I had made him blueberry pancakes one of his favorites as I sat it down in front of him.
"Thank you baby but what you got in there" he said looking at my bowl
"Cake and strawberries" I said as he laughed. My cravings had a mind of their own.
"At 9 in the morning baby" he said to me
"I know but that's what your daughter wants" I said blaming it all on Haley. Jason came up with name for her. We wanted it to be close to Harley and plus I loved the fact that we all had H names. Hue, Harley and now Haley.
"Yeah right blame it all on my baby" he said as I sat on his lap as he rubbed my big growing stomach.
"Don't judge me J" I said laughing as he ate his breakfast.
"What time is my mother bringing Harley back" he said as he fed me a spoon of cake
"Should be soon I believe. Why" I asked swinging my legs on top of him. He started feeling on my legs slowly
"Just was thinking" he said as he gripped my waist. I already knew where he was headed.
"All that thinking got me pregnant again" I said as I laughed.
"I don't ever hear you complain" he said pulling my strings of my robe apart letting it fly open revealing my naked body.
"Jason baby no. They will be here soon and I know you don't like being interrupted" I said trying to get up closing my robe back. Jason's sex drive was off the charts. He didn't care that we had sex all night long he still craved my body.
"I'll make it quick beautiful. Come on" he said as he whispered in my ear kissing on me. I loved his touch and got so weak for him.
"No babyyyy" I whined as I got up going to the sink. I didn't want to start anything I couldn't finish. Jason walked be hide me moving my hair to the side as he sucked on my neck.
"So you goin ignore me" I said as I felt my knees buckle his lips were magical
"Mmmhmm" he said as he pulled off my robe from behide. He slid his boxers off as he rubbed my ass. I couldn't even protest. I just hoped he could finish his mission. He bent me over slightly entering me from behide. He pushed in and out of me as I held on to the counter.
"Mmmmm that feels so good baby" I moaned out. Soon as he got his rhythm we heard the door bell.
"Shit" he said as he kept going
"Jason stop that's your mother" I said standing up reaching for my robe as the door bell rang again.
"Aight man. Let me get dressed" he said with this defeated look on his face. I couldn't help but laugh. He should've just listened to me. I fixed myself as I opened the door to see an excited Harley.
"My baby!" I said happily to her as she jumped in my arms. I kissed her little face all over.
"Ma ma I tiss you" she said as I smiled hard. Hearing her say that did something to my heart.
"Aww angel mommy missed you so much more. I love you" I said as I kissed her little lips. I couldn't stand being away from her.
"Hey ma" I said kissing her cheek as I put Harley down as she ran inside.
"Hey honey. How you feeling this morning" Ms. Heather said to me.
"As big as I look" I said laughing. Haley definitely carried bigger than Harley.
"You still look gorgeous honey. I got some healthy grand babies" she said rubbing my stomach as Jason came in the room with Harley glued to him.
"What's up ma" he said giving her a hug and a kiss.
"Jason you got that little girl spoiled rotten. She talked about you all day" she said as he blushed. Jason lived for his girls.
"That's cause she a daddy girl. Right princess" he said kissing her full cheeks. She already made her way to my strawberries that Jason fed her.
"I keep telling your son I feel for him when Haley come cause Harley not goin like giving up her attention" I said as I laughed. Harley was a daddy's girl to the core and I could only imagine how she was gonna to react when she realized she had to share Jason. Sometimes she barely wanted me to touch him and I was his wife.
"I don't know what you do Jason. Those little girls are going to have you wrapped around their fingers" his mother said as he shook his head.
"It's too late for that. They got it from their mother though" he said kissing my lips as I smiled. It never mattered who was watching Jason always showed his affection for me in a respectful manner. I loved that about him.
"How it's pose to be" his mother said as she smiled at us. She always told him to love me no matter what and she loved it when he showed it. She was over joyed when we told her we were expecting another baby. She wanted tons of grandkids.
"Harley come give grandma a hug and kiss before she leaves" she said as Harley ran to her. We let her spend as much Time with her as she liked. That bond was just as important to her. I wanted Harley to have family she could feel comfortable and loved around her. Something I never had. We said goodbye as his mom left. We cleaned up as we got dressed to spend a day with our angel.

"Wats dat da da" Harley said as pointed to the monkeys. We took her to the zoo to teach her about animals.
"That's a monkey princess. They big" he said holding her small hand as she took it all in watching them. She moved from animal to animal as they walked further and further. The more they walked the further I was behide them. It was so hard for me to keep up with as I wobbled thru the entire zoo trying to maintain my breath. Soon as I saw them reach the duck lake I took a seat catching my breath. I rubbed my stomach just watching them.
"Da da look look" Harely shouted in amazement seeing all the ducks swimming in a line. She almost lost her mind. She had on a little pink dress with clear sandals. Her soft curly hair was in 2 pink and white bows. She was the cutest little girl I ever saw.
"I see princess. They a family. That's the daddy and the mommy and those the baby ducks" he said to her as she wrapped her small arms around his legs. God was so good cause here I was watching my daughter and husband at the zoo. I almost cried because I never believe this could be my life. As I was admiring then I felt someone behide me.
"Excuse me can you tell me where the aquarium is" the woman said as I looked at her.
"It's down to your left right near the snakes" she looked so familiar but I couldn't put my finger on it. It was on the tip of my tongue.
"Thank you. I been trying to tell my boyfriend but he won't listen. My son loves fishes" she said to me as I smiled at her.
"I'm sorry but you look so familiar. I feel like I know you from somewhere" I said confidently. I definitely knew her but from where tho?
"Oh miss you must be mistaken. I'm not even from Atlanta. We're on vacation from New York" she said as I frowned my face up. I knew exactly who she was.
"I'm actually from New York" I said as I looked her up and down.
"Tiffany where the hell you run off to" I heard a male voice say. I was right about who she was and he just proves my case.
"This nice lady was telling me where we needed to go. She from New York too baby. What a coincidence" she said as the man looked at me with wide eyes.
"Hue" he said shocked
"How are you Lamar" I said to him. The woman was the same lady who he had gotten pregnant years ago and moved into our house. I would never forget her face. Although Lamar did some dirty stuff to me in the past. I had no ill well against him. I was married to the love of my life. Had a beautiful daughter and was waiting anyway now for my next angel.
"Wow you look.. Ummm different" he said staring at me. "And your pregnant" he said as if he was slowly trying to piece together what he was seeing.
"You know her Lamar" the woman said looking at us both.
"Yeah we know each other from way back. Old friends" he said as he smiled at her. "Tiffany why don't you get the kids something to eat I'll meet yall over there" he never took his eyes off me. Clearly she didn't remember me not one bit.
"Ok baby. And nice meeting you" she said as she walked away.
"Hue I don't believe I'm seeing you right now" he said as I rubbed my stomach. He caught a glimpse of my wedding ring as I moved my hand. It was huge so you couldn't miss it.
"Oh somebody than put a ring on your finger and put a baby up in you" he said laughing. "Boy how things change"
"Yep. Someone saw what you didn't appreciate. So here I am" I said back to him. It felt good to say those words to him.
"I deserve that. But you look real happy. Lucky man" he said nodding his head back and forth.
"Oh I am very happy and I'm the lucky one" I said as I saw Jason and Harley walking over to me.
"You ok beautiful" Jason said kissing me as he rubbed my stomach. He didn't even see Lamar.
"I'm good baby. Had to take a break" I said returning his kiss. This moment was priceless!!!! All Lamar could do was watch.
"Oh my bad beautiful. I ain't mean to distract your conversation. How you doing man" Jason said noticing him standing there
"Nah man it's cool. I was just leaving. Hue take care" he said as he walked away with this look on his face. I was no longer hurt or mad at him. I moved past that point in my life and it felt amazing to know that he was no longer my problem. I had a real man now who loved and appreciated me.
"Baby you know who that was" I said to Jason as he carried a sleeping Harley to the car placing her in her car seat.
"Nah who" he said getting in the driver seat as I turned to him.
"That was my ex babe" he looked at me giving me this mean mug
"Did he say anything to you out the way or touch you wrong. Why you ain't tell me this before" he said getting upsetting. Jason was no where near the jealous type but what he heard about Lamar never set well with him. All he knew was that this man hurt me bad. Nothing else needed to be said.
"Baby relax he didn't say anything bad to me. He was actually shocked to see me pregnant and married" I said rubbing his hands
"Long as he ain't step out of line with you Hue. I'm serious I'll beat his ass" he said ready to protect as usual.
"Come here" I said to Jason as I leaned in for a kiss. I kissed his full soft lips nice and slow as he kissed me back deepening the kiss.
"You make me so happy baby. I always thought that when I saw him again I would cry or get the same bad feelings I felt before or something like that but I felt nothing but happiness. He hurt me so much but look at me now. I'm married to the man of my dreams. A man who loves me even when I'm wrong. A man who knows me better than I know myself." I said caressing his face "how can I get mad when I have a beautiful little girl who I never thought I would have and another on the way. I'm blessed Jason. None of the past even matters. I come home to my family everyday and wouldn't trade it for the world" I said to him as I looked him in the eye. It took me a while but I could honestly say I was truly happy. I understood that every lesson in life prepared you for something better. I cried enough tears and had enough heartache. It was my time to live.
"I'm glad you feel that way beautiful. If you happy then I'm happy" he said kissing my forehead
"I love you J" I said rubbing my hands on his chest as I kissed his lips
"I love you too baby. Now how about we go home put her to bed and finish what we started earlier" he said laying his hand on my thigh.
"Mmmm I like that idea baby. I'm ready for you now" I said biting my lip.
"You lucky Harley in this car" he said as we both laughed. We headed home and thank God for each other. I had to learn slowly that sometimes the best revenge was making yourself happy. That's something people could automatically see on you without having to say a word. True happiness showed on your face and that was the ultimate pay back if you ask me.
