Chapter 66: The Gift That Never Stops

2 months had past since me and Jason had the baby conversation. He was okay with my decision and I accepted the situation. I had some follow up appointments with Dr. Adams and she said I was healing very well but I wasn't gonna test the waters with another baby.
It was 1am and I couldn't sleep. Jason was snoring next to me in just his boxers. I couldn't stop staring at him. I slid closer to him putting my hands under the sheets rubbing his chest.
"J" I whispered as he moved around. I hated waking him up but I couldn't sleep.
"Beautiful why you ain't sleeping" he said half asleep rubbing his eyes.
"I can't sleep baby" I said laying on his chest. I loved his attention and when my mind races he was the only one who it ease it.
"You want me to hold you" he said kissing my forehead. He treated me like his baby and even though I was a grown woman I enjoyed being handled so gentle and precious.
"Yes baby" I climbed on top of him as I cuddled up close to his body. This was my favorite place to be. "Jason" I said with my head down staring at the wall.
"What's up" he answered running his fingers thru my hair.
"You what tomorrow is" I said knowing he would already knew the answer.
"Tomorrow?? Ummm idk" he said as I sat up looking at him.
"Jason don't play with me" I said as he grinned. He was not funny.
"I'm fuckin wit you beautiful. It's my baby's birthday. How could I forget" he said making me smile. It was my birthday and I was so excited. Jason surprised me every year and I never knew what he had up his sleeve.
"What do I get this year baby?" I asked knowing damn well he wouldn't tell. Jason could keep his surprises in forever.
"Now you know I'm not telling you beautiful. Go to sleep" he said pulling me back down on his chest.
"Okay okay. I just want a hint. Is it black or blue. Big or small. A new car a vacation" I said throwing out anything I could think of. I hated not knowing.
"How about if you give something I'll tell you something" he said in my ear making me laugh.
"Something like what Jason" I said knowing his answer. He rubbed on my ass kissing my neck.
"You know what I want. Don't fake" he said with no shame
"If I do what you want you goin tell me?" I said sitting up looking at him.
"Nope that ain't changing" I rolled my eyes laying on my side Of the bed. He was not gonna tell me.
"You get on my nerves." I pulled the covers over me laying on my side.
"You mad at me sexy" he said coming up behind me wrapping his hands around my waist.
"Yes" I said not facing him.
"It's aight. Imma fix that attitude later. Good night. I love you" he said squeezing me tight kissing my cheek. I was quiet and didn't answer him.
"Oh so you ignoring me" he laughed rubbing on my thigh. "I see Imma have to make some phone calls and take back your stuff" he said knowing I would react.
"No baby. No." I said quickly turning around.
"Okay then. Tell me what I wanna hear" he said making me smile
"I love you. I love you. I love you Jason" I said pecking his lips softly. He grabbed me as he rocked me in his arms.
"I love you more. Now go to sleep wit your nosey ass" I laid on his chest laughing. Whatever he had in store for me I would just have to be patient and wait till the morning came. I hope it was good.

Flashback....
"So what we doing tonight" Jen said on the phone. Today was my 27th birthday and me and my girl was gonna run the town all night.
"Let's go to that lounge on P St." I said getting ready. I was putting my makeup on when my door bell rang.
"Who the hell is that" I said throwing on my short lace robe. "Jen Imma call you when I'm on my way boo." I threw my phone down running to get the door. I opened the door seeing Jason. He and I were becoming really good friends and I secretly had the biggest crush on him. He was so damn fine but I kept it classy and friendly.
"I hope I ain't come at a bad time. I just wanted to say happy birthday and give you a lil something" he said as I invited him in. He was so sweet. I wasn't even his girl and he came out his way for me.
"Jason you didn't have to do this. But thank you sweetheart" I sat on the couch as he handed me some balloons, my favorite chocolate cupcake and a small gift bag. Nobody has ever made it their business to do nice stuff for me like this. I was kinda speechless.
"It's not much but I ain't want you to think I forgot about your birthday. I'm a good friend" he said smiling. His straight white teeth and those dimples made me so weak every time he smiled.
"I appreciate it. Your too sweet" I said looking him up and down. He kept staring at my chest as I caught his eye. I looked down seeing my robe open revealing a glimpse of my full breast. I didn't have a bra on cause I was in the middle of getting dress.
"Omg I'm sorry J. I didn't mean for that to happen" I quickly tied my robe tight as I blushed with embarrassment. I didn't want him to think that I had this on just to be sexy or flirtatious. I definitely didn't wanna give him the wrong impression of me.
"Nah I shouldn't even be looking.
My bad beautiful" he said making this less awkward and not to mention I loved his nickname for me. It always made me blush. "Well I don't wanna hold you up from your birthday plans so Imma get my ass from out of here and go home" I wanted him to stay so bad but I plans with Jen. If she wasn't my girl I would've blew her right off.
"Okay. Thank again Jason." I said walking him to the door.
"Aye Hue I was wondering" he stopped turning around to face me.
"What's up" I said holding my robe together leaning on the wall
"Maybe tomorrow or when you get some free time. I wanted to take you out for your birthday. Not a date or anything just as friends" he said as I tried to contain my excitement. Just as I was gonna respond my phone rang.
"Stay right here" I said to him going upstairs to get my phone. It was Jen. She couldn't go out tonight cause Frank was sick so we had to reschedule. For some reason I was happy.
"Everything okay?" He asked as I came back downstairs.
"Yeah. It's my best friend. We was suppose to go out tonight but her husband is sick so their goes my night" I said laughing it off. I had no problem staying in.
"Damn" he said shaking his head.
"I got all dressed up too" I said running my hands over my neat bun I did. My makeup was done and all I had to do was put on my dress I laid out. It was a short white lace dress that stopped at my knees with a slit. It was gorgeous.
"I mean....you can still have fun. I can take you out tonight. If you don't mind?" He offered as I blushed.
"Are you pushing up on me Mr. Thomas" I said laughing as he grinned.
"Nah I'm just being a gentlemen. You too beautiful to be in the house" he said as I tried to cover my smile.
"Okay let me finish getting dress and I'll be back" I ran upstairs getting ready. I had my dress in but I couldn't reach the back zipper.
"Jason can you come here please" I yelled downstairs as he knocked on my door.
"What you need beautiful" he said coming in. His eyes were glued to me as I laughed.
"Can you zippen this for me" he came over and did the zipper as I watched him thru the mirror. I was so attracted to him I couldn't help but stare. As I looked at him I saw his eyes meet mines. He looked at me thru the mirror as I jumped out my trance.
"Thank you" I said moving away as fast as I could. Locking eyes with him made me feel a certain kind of way. My heart started to beat faster but I had to chill. We left as he opened my door. He got in the car as his music blasted.
"You look absolutely beautiful tonight." He said to me as he drove. I had the biggest smile on my face.
"Awww Jason stop." I said looking out the window.
"I mean it" we drove a couple more minutes as we drove to a club. It was very laid back and I was dressed for the Gods. Jason helped me out as we entered. It was people at every corner. Jason dapped up the bouncer as he laid us to a private area.
"Jason this is so nice. You know the owner or something" I said looking around
"Actually I do. The owner is of my clients. I sold this building and I'm part owner with him. It's more like an investment" he said as I got so turned on. A man who was sexy was one thing but he was sexy and about his business.
"Oh that's cool" I said as our drinks came. We talked while the music played. I got up to go the restroom. As I walked back to Jason I felt someone burning a whole in my face.
"Damn ma. You sexy as shit." A tall attractive brown skin man said walking over to me. He was definitely easy on the eyes.
"Thank you" I said laughing.
"So what's your name ma." He said smiling at me
"Hue" I said over the loud music
"Well Hue my name is Troy. Can I get your number so we can get to know each other a lil bit more gorgeous" he was fine but as we spoke I saw Jason looking my way and turn his head. Now technically I was single and I didn't have a man but Jason was my friend and I actually did like him a lot. I respected our friendship and in the back of my mind I kinda hoped me and him would be more than friends one day.
"You seem like a nice guy boo but Imma pass" I said as he chuckled
"It's all good. Whoever got your attention is lucky. Take care" he said walking away. I laughed as I took my seat next to Jason.
"Wanna dance" I said to him as he sat back in his seat.
"Nah I'm straight" his demeanor had changed and If I didn't know better he looked mad.
"Jason are you okay?" I asked sitting closer to him.
"I'm good. But I'm sure your friend might wanna dance" he said surprising me.
"Excuse me" I said frowning up my face
"Nothing man" he said drinking his drink as if he didn't just say what he said.
"Jason I can talk to whoever I want to. Your not my man so idk why you even brought that up" I said getting upset
"I know I'm not so its cool" I sat there for a minute thinking could he be jealous but I got that thought out my mind. He never said anything about us being more than friends. Or at least I didn't see it myself.
"And for your information I turned him down." I whispered as he laughed lightly.
"And why you do that" he asked rubbing his beard.
"Cause I got my eye on somebody else" I said getting up winking at him. "Now come on and dance with me. You not goin let the birthday girl have fun all by herself" I said grabbing his hand.
"You something else" he said holding my hand as we made it to the dance floor. We enjoyed ourselves. Just me and him. I was so glad to be spending my birthday with my new best friend. I loved being around and I couldn't wait to see what the future had in store for us.

"Ma ma me do it" Harley said to me as I applied my lipstick. Jason texted me and said be ready at 8. I had 15 minutes before he came and got me. I was so anxious. When I got up this morning and he had already left for work but he had long stem roses all over the bed with a new set of diamond earrings. I knew that was just the beginning.
"Okay angel. Make mommy look pretty for daddy" I said putting her in the sink so she could apply my lipstick.
"It's mommy's birthday you that angel" I said sitting still for her.
"Ma ma get cake" she said making me laugh. Any opportunity she saw for cake she took it.
"I do angel. Wanna share when mommy get home later?" I asked as she smiled with her cute self.
"Yes me want a big piece" she was so precious
"Okay you can get the big piece angel. But can I tell you a secret" I said quietly as she sat in front of me. I took the lipstick and sat it to the side.
"Secwet" she said trying to pronounce it making me laugh.
"Yes my angel" I stroked her soft curly hair looking in her eyes. "You wanna know what's the best birthday gift I could ever have" I asked as she stared at me.
"Cake ma ma" she said clapping her hands. As I was about to speak Haley came in the bathroom. She was now walking slowly but surely. I was in deep trouble.
"Come here pretty girl" I said picking her up sitting her next to her sister. Just the sight of them made me emotional. These little girls were made from my love and passion for their father. They looked exactly like him and I loved it. Haley and Harley had 2 different personalities but their hearts matched each other. They were kind. Forgiving and loving. It was nothing that me and Jason could do to make them stop giving us kisses and hugs. I made sure to get on my knees every day to thank God for my girls. They were real life Angels.
"Secwet secwet ma ma" she said making sure I didn't forget.
"Okay but we gotta keep it between us." I said holding both of their hands. "Mommy's best gift she ever got was you and your sister. Daddy and God gave me you and I'm so grateful." They giggled with each other as they always did. They were laughing all the time and I was proud to be raising happy little girls.
"Ma ma me was in your belly" she said lifting up my shirt.
"Yes. Both you and your sister was in mommy's belly. Angel you was here first. You made mommy so happy when I found out I was having you. You kicked and moved around." She rubbed my stomach laughing "and pretty girl you came second. You was a surprise that daddy fought for. Your daddy was so excited. You made mommy's belly so big and you wanted to stay inside me forever" I said tickling her as she laughed. "But both of you are my heart. It's nothing that can compare to the feeling that I get when I see you. Mommy is sad when she's away from you and when I get home I can't wait to hug and kiss on my angel and my pretty girl. Promise mommy you will always be close and that you will always  love each other. Harley you all Haley has so always look out and protect her. Even when she makes you mad love her. Be her best friend never let anyone break what mommy and daddy put together" I spoke stroking her little chubby face. I needed them to stay close. When me and Jason couldn't be there for them they would have each other. Love was all they had.
"Promise ma ma" she said paying me close attention. My angel was so smart and me and her had a special relationship. She was my heart my soul and my mini me. She wanted to do everything I did. I made sure to be a good example because she was always watching me. I was over joyed she wanted to be just like me but I wanted her to be better than me. All my mistakes and failures were my lessons to past on to them. I never wanted them to suffer the way I did.
"Haley you are my life. Mommy wants you to be nice to your sister and love her always. Listen to her even when you don't want to. Give her all the hug and kisses you can. Be strong with her and never separate your bond" I said holding her tiny hands. She couldn't understand what I was saying but she still watched my mouth move the whole time. Haley was the complete opposite of her big sister. Haley wanted to do what she wanted when she wanted how she wanted and she didn't care who had anything to say about it. She had my attitude to a T. Although Haley was super attached to me she was her own person. I loved her little attitude and she had a mind of her own.
"Now can mommy have a kiss" I said as they both kissed me all over my face. I loved their love and craved it every minute of the day.
"Muah Muah Muah Muah Muah" I took turns kissing them back and forth
"Give your sister a kiss angel" I said as Harley kissed her sisters lips. They were so affectionate with each other and I loved it.
"Me turn ma ma" Harley said telling her sister to kiss her.
"Haley give your sister a kiss now" she kissed Harley as Jason came thru the door. I took every chance to bond with my girls as I could no matter what I had to do.
"You ready beautiful" Jason said picking up both Harley and  Haley kissing them.
"Yep. Let me grab my purse and I'm all yours" I took one last look at myself as I walked out the bathroom. I had on my tight denim jeans with black high been boots that had gold straps over the top.  My low cut but classy white blouse stood out as I wore my new earrings charm bracelet and wedding ring. My hair was wavy and pinned to side. I was ready to celebrate another year on this earth. I was blessed to say the least. I met Jason downstairs leaving the girls with his mother. I was gonna be a great night.

Jason drove us to my favorite restaurant. This was the same place he proposed at and our first date.
"Awwww baby. You know I love coming here" I said as he opened my door. We held hands as we walked to the door. He opened the door as I saw it was completely different. Their was only one table in the whole building. The lights were low. It was no one in sight. I gasp looking around. It was flowers candles and balloons everywhere.
"Jason how did you do this" I scanned the whole room at a lost for words. He always out did himself.
"Don't worry bout all that. Just enjoy it" he said leading me to the table. He pulled my chair out as I took a seat he sat across from me as I blushed hard.
"Thank you baby. I love what you did. However you did it" I said as he laughed.
"You ain't even see what else I got and you thanking me already" I shook my head. This was more than enough.
"Well I'll be patient and see handsome" I said as the waiter came with a tray of salads and drinks.
"Happy birthday Mrs. Thomas. Tonight is all about you and I'm here to serve you. Whatever you want just let me know. Their is no menu tonight cause whatever you have a taste for the chef will make for you. So enjoy" he said leaving us alone going back in the kitchen.
"J this is too much" I said amazed. He did all this for me.
"Didn't I say enjoy this. You don't get to ask questions tonight" he said looking at me.
"Baby you know I'm not hard to please though" I said as he laughed.
"You not but let me do this for you. It's your day. I'm lucky to have you so I wanna show you that beautiful" my smile never went down. Jason made me so happy.
"I love you" I said softly rubbing his hand over the table.
"I love you more. Come here" he said as I got up and say on his lap. "Can I get a kiss from the birthday girl" he said holding on to my waist.
"You sure can" I said meeting his soft lips. I kissed him over and over as he slid his tongue in my mouth. We kissed deeply as I held his face. He broke the kiss as I bit his bottom lip.
"Mmmm you better stop for I throw you on this floor and fuck the shit out you" he said kissing my neck making me laugh. It didn't take much for me to turn him on.
"Behave J" I said caressing his face. He put his face in my shirt as I laughed. He was so. stubborn. He was licking and sucking on my cleavage that was showing thru my shirt. "J baby stop" I said closing my eyes. He was turning me on so much. He put his hand in my shirt rubbing my nipples causing me to moan.
"You look so good tonight" he said in my ear continuing to rub on me. He had to stop.
"Jason" I moaned putting my hands on his chest out of reflex.
"Yes" he started to unbutton my shirt as my breast peeked out. He sucked on my nipple as I almost lost my mind. He was a beast.
"J....Jason mmm we can't..no baby" I was saying no but my body said yes. I didn't even fight him. I ran my hands thru his waves as he went non stop. I heard the waiter clear his throat as I jumped.
"We're sorry sir" I said fixing my clothes. He just laughed paying it no mind.
"It's no problem. I know how much this man loves so it's nothing to be sorry about. Now what will you be having tonight" I sat there thinking
"Ummm can I have some Alfredo pasta with shrimp, crab cakes, steak and a egg" I said as Jason looked at me crazy. I was craving all that. Jason ordered as the waiter went to put our orders in. Jason kept staring at me hard.
"What. You said I can get what I want." I said smiling at him.
"And you did just that" He said laughing. He reached under his chair grabbing a box.
"Jason what's this" I said shaking the flat box.
"Open it" he smiled as I ripped it open. It was an envelope with 4 airplane tickets
"Omg baby." I kissed him over and over
"I know you need a break so I got us a trip with the girls. I know you wanted them to see Hawaii so I made it happen" he remembered when I said at our honeymoon and everyday after. I loved Hawaii so much that I wanted to go back desperately. 
"Thank you baby. The girls are gonna love this" I put the envelope on the table as I got up from his lap. I had something for him.
"I know it's my birthday but I have a little gift for you babe" I had a box with a bow on it. I sat on his lap again as he looked confused.
"Hue why would get me something today." He picked up the box as I smiled. 
"Just open it" I said as he looked at the paper inside.
"It's a ultrasound from the girls" he said not even getting it. He was so wrong.
"Read the date Jason" I said as he read it over and over. He dropped it looking me up and down.
"Hue" he said quietly. I knew he was gonna feel torn.
"Baby it's okay. I want to do this." I said as he sighed. 
"But baby I don't wanna force this on you. I know you was against having another baby" he said not wanting to get excited.
"Jason I was. But I want us to give it one more shot. I went to my follow appointment and I found out I was 6 weeks pregnant. I prayed hard and thought long and hard about this. We created this and I think we be happy and not live in fear about it. I'm willing to take this one day at a time of you by my side baby. This is my gift to you" I said as he almost cried. Nothing made Jason emotional other than his kids and my feelings.
"You love me that much that you willing to go back thru hell to have this baby?" He asked staring me down.
"I love you that much Jason. You make the impossible possible for me so I'm all in" I took his hands placing it on my firm stomach.
"We having another Baby huh" he said rubbing my stomach all around
"Yes and this one goin make it. I promise" I said kissing him softly
"I love you. Im so serious when I say that Hue. You never fail to amaze me baby. You deserve the world" he said wiping my fallen tears. I was scared but I trusted that God would pull us thru. We were going to have a healthy baby.
"I already have the world. I got you" he kissed passionately.
"Let's go. I gotta have you right now" he said in my ear. I was on the same page. He ran into the kitchen paying the bill getting our food to go. We walked to the car as he leaned me against the door.
"I want you so bad" he said kissing my neck. I wrapped my hands around his neck so in love with him. I pushed him off me as I opened the door getting in the backseat. He got in closing the door as rain drops started pouring down.
"Make love to me Jason" I said straddling him. He removed my clothes slowly as I undressed him. My heart was beating out my chest for this man. He held my face gazing in my eyes as tear after tear rolled down my cheek. We sat there in silence as the rain fell harder. My heart was his heart. My mind was his mind. My soul was connected to his soul. Our love was powerful. We couldn't make it without each other. This was the ultimate birthday gift. It never had to end and I didn't have to wait once a year to feel this......that was the best part!
