Chapter 14:You Can't Hide

I was at home making myself something to eat as I felt my baby girl kicking uncontrollably. I didn't mind at first cause usually she would keep kicking till either me or Jason paid her some attention. She was spoiled already. But today she didn't let up at all and I knew exactly why.
"What's wrong mommy's Angel" I said paying her attention as I rubbed the left side she loves curling up on. "You miss daddy huh" Jason had been gone for business in Florida for 2 days now. I missed him so much cause we never been apart since we started dating. I wanted him home but understood that business had to be handled.
"Angel I miss daddy too. How bout we call him and see what's he's up to. Ok" I spoke to her as I went to the couch and eased myself down. I picked up my phone and pressed the face time button hoping he wouldn't be busy.
"Beautiful" he said as he popped up on the screen. I missed seeing his face so much. He was so sexy and every time I saw him it was like we just met.
"Baby I miss you. When you coming home" I said into the phone
"I miss you and my princess too babe and I'll be home no later than tomorrow." She had stop kicking and relaxed. I knew that would do it.
"How's it going out there" I said laying across the couch
"It's going great. Just signed a huge contract with these club owners and they mean business beautiful." I loved when he was happy and his business was going good
"That's great baby. How's the food?" I asked
"It's good. A lot of different types out here but none better than my future wife" I blushed as I looked at my stunning ring.
"Good answer J" as we both laughed.
"How you sleeping though" he asked. For the last couple of nights I been having those nightmares and they we so vivid. They were always about my father and him touching but in my dream it was him raping me. I was so scared especially since Jason wasn't there with me.
"J they got worse. It's like they trying to tell me something. I'm so scared baby. I need you" my voice started to trail off as I tried to hide my emotions.
"No crying beautiful. Imma be back real soon and nothing will happen ok. I promise." He said comforting me.
"I just have a bad feeling J. They never come back to back." I said as I rubbed my stomach. I had to relax because she could feel when I was stressing.
"Baby just stay calm okay. It's goin be fine. I don't want you or my princess under any stress." He was right they were just dreams and I had to shake whatever this was away out my mind.
"You need to hurry back home J. I need you so bad" I said to him letting him know exactly what I meant. He saw the look in my face and bit his lip.
"Oh really. Trust me when I get home. Imma handle that." He said making me smile.
"Let me see something beautiful" he said Causing me to laugh
"I got something better for you daddy. I missed you last night so I took a couple of pictures for you. Imma send it to soon as we done talking" I saw him pat the front of his pants as he laid on the hotel bed.
"Damn see that's why I'm marrying you. I can't wait to see baby." I knew he was already turned on.
"We haven't went this long with out sex with each other" I laughed cause it was just 2 days.
"That's cause you can't keep your hands off me." He said as I shook my head.
"J don't act like I force you now. I clearly remember you waking me out my sleep all the time." I said laughing
"You my addiction beautiful. I never get enough of you. It's goin always be like that." I couldn't help but blush. I loved how he felt about me. Even when I felt insecure or self conscious he changed all that.
"Thank you baby."
"But beautiful I gotta go. I got another meeting to deal seal the deal and then Imma head on home to you."
" Okay baby. I love you" I said happy he would be home soon
"I love you too. Tilt the camera down to my princess" he said as I placed my phone to my stomach
"Daddy loves you more than anything princess. Behave for mommy" he said kissing his phone as he ended the call.

I had invited Jen over to keep me company till Jason came home. We picked out furniture and colors for the baby's room as we ate. Well more so me.
"Damn girl she is growing in there" Jen said touching my firm stomach
"I wake up and be like damn was I this big yesterday" as we laughed.
"Did yall pick out any names yet" she said as I ate my bowl of triple chocolate ice cream.
"I like Harley and he likes Jae cause he wants anything close to his name" we still haves decided on which one
"Yall better pick soon cause she goin be here before you know it." She said as we heard a knock on the door.
"I got it Hue. I know how long it take for your fat ass to get up" I laughed and threw my pillow at her. All I heard was her open the door. I wasn't expecting anyone and very few people knew where I lived.
"Who is it Jen" I said getting up waking to the door
"Ummm go sit down Hue. It's nobody" she had a weird look in her face and I suddenly felt this strong weird feeling at the pit of my stomach.
"Jen who it is" I said getting closer to the door as I finally saw the man standing there. I grabbed my stomach and almost fainted. I couldn't believe my eyes. I got scared mad and nervous all at the same time.
"He said he's your father" Jen said as she just stood there confused. Last time I saw my father was the night he tried to rape me. I didn't hear or see him ever again after that day.
"Omg your Hue" he said as he stepped closer to me "look at how beautiful you are and you're having a baby" he reached out for a hug as I stepped back
"Get the hell away from my house. And don't ever say shit to me" I said as I pushed my door close as he tried to stop it.
"Baby girl I been looking all over for you" he said as if he had amnesia
"I'm not your baby girl and don't ever come over here again. Now move for I call the police." I felt my baby kick and move around sensing my adrenaline
"But Hue come on now. I'm your father" he said pleading his case.
"Fuck you" I said as I slammed the door right in his face. I felt no remorse or anything. I couldn't believe he came to my house. How did he get my address? What did he want after all these years? And better yet where was my mother? So many questions came to my head. I was a wreck. I had to calm down. I needed too.
"Jen call Jason please" I said without even looking at her. I was in shock. I thought I was dreaming.
