Chapter 79: Unwanted Guest

"Babe I'm leaving" I yelled coming downstairs. I had on my grey fitted sweatpants and tight white shirt bringing justice to my pregnant body.
"Where you going dress like that" he said sitting on the couch watching the basketball game as the girls played on the floor.
"Like what. I look average today" I said laying my hair down that was in one loose braid. I stepped in my teal ugg boots grabbing my purse.
"You look sexy if you ask me" he said meeting me at the front door area.
"If you must know I'm going out with Jen. We're going shopping" I wanted to catch up with my best friend and see my baby Los. I was in love with his little self.
"What you goin get me" he said rubbing on my ass.
"What you want baby" I said smiling at him. He never was on my back asking where I going trying to control me. He understood that I was my own woman.
"Something I can take off you." He whispered as I laughed.
"Oh yeah" I said wrapping my arms around him.
"Mmmhmm. Can I get some tonight" not like he didn't get it every night and any time he asked.
"Yes daddy" I said softly as he kissed my neck.
"Come on. Let's go upstairs real quick" he said pulling on my hand. I wasn't not gonna let him distract me like he always tried to.
"Jason no. Tonight baby" I said as he kissed up my face to my lips.
"Aight. Imma be waiting on it too beautiful" he said as I kissed him back.
"Mommy's leaving angels" I said walking to the living room to them.
"Ma ma me go" Haley said trying to climb on me. I carefully picked her up as she held on to my face looking at me.
"You're gonna stay with daddy pretty girl. Mommy will be back real fast. I promise" I said as she started to cry. She never wanted me to go anywhere if she wasn't going. "Awwww my baby" I said rubbing her back kissing her face. "Look at your sister. She's a big girl baby. Stop crying okay" I hated leaving them but I couldn't keep up with them outside of the house at this point while carrying Jae. He was enough.
"No go ma ma. Miss you" she said as I caressed her face.
"Princess mommy goin go and we goin have fun. We can go play at the park and go get ice cream. Daddy goin even take you to the princess store. Don't you want that" he said sitting close to us. She nodded her head as Harley sat in his lap. She didn't care who left as long as someone she was comfortable with her she was fine.
"Give mommy a big kiss. I love you Haley" I said kissing her lips over and over causing her to giggle.
"I want a kiss too. Im sad" Jason said as I laughed.
"After I kiss my babies. Maybe you can have one" I said kissing Harley. "I love you angel." She kissed me back as they hugged me tight.
"Baby need kiss" she said lifting my shirt. I could never go to sleep or to my office without them kissing my huge stomach. They loved their little brother already. They kissed my stomach as I got up. I kissed them one more time before I grabbed my keys and purse.
"I'll take that" Jason said taking my purse from me. He walked me to my car shutting my door for me.
"I love you baby" I said as he stood by my window.
"I love you too. Don't forget me later" he said as I laughed.
"I promise I won't. Gimme me my kiss" I said as he leaned in kissing me passionately. He put his hands on my belly as he broke the kiss.
"Be careful and call me if you need me. Tell Jen I said what's up." I nodded putting my hand in top of his.
"I will handsome" I said licking my lips at him. I had to go before I rethought my decision of going out. He kissed me again as he walked back into the house. I turned on some K. Michelle as I drove off. I loved my life at home.

I met Jen for lunch before we went shopping. I was starving.
"Hurry your ass up" I said sitting at the table as she came in sitting in her seat.
"Don't rush me. Frank wanted to have a quickie soon as I got dressed" she said making me laugh. Frank and Jason were 2 of the same kind.
"Yall nasty" I said as she held her chest.
"Now I know miss I have sex all day everyday ain't talking. Let's not forget how my nephew got created" she said as I cracked up. We were in the same boat.
"Speaking of nephew. Where is my Los. I thought you was bringing him." I said as our drinks and starters came. I knew Jen like the back of my hand so we always orders for each other. She was my sister.
"Girl he was sleeping when I left and I didn't wanna wake him so he staying with his father. I get a break" she said as I understood.
"I hear you. But how is it at night with Los. Do you and Frank still get that time with each other" I said eating my salad.
"It's not that bad now that we got a routine. Los eats at 8 and will be out for the rest of the night. Frank gets home by 8:30 so me and him get to talk and do what we do best. Fuck" she said as I giggled.
"I'm glad yall got a good balance. And I know it was hell not having sex for the 6 weeks after too girl" Jason damn near died waiting but it was worth it.
"Who waited 6 weeks. Girl we got it in the 2nd week. I was too horny to wait. That doctor could kiss my ass" I laughed knowing that she was going to do what she wanted whenever she wanted. She didn't care who had anything to say.
"Your crazy ass. I should've known. But let me fill you in on something" I said dying to tell her about the phone call I got a couple days ago
"What happened girl" she said eating her food.
"So Jen me and Jason was messing around and my phone kept ringing off the hook. I finally got up to answer it and you'll never guess who called me to help them out" I was still shocked myself
"Girl my evil as grandmother. She had surgery and they need someone to care for her and asked could she come stay with me" I filled her in as her mouth dropped
"Bitch stop lying" she said shocked.
"I wish I was. Jason was like help her but I don't want shit to do with her. I'm sure it's some nursing home that would love to mistreat her" I said as Jen shook her head.
"Hue you know I love you and you my sister and I won't ever tell you anything that will hurt you right?" I knew her famous literature was coming.
"Jen I don't wanna hear it" I said blowing my breath. First my husband now my best friend no way.
"Boo listen to me. I know you don't want to hear this but Hue she needs your help and I know you. I bet your stressing yourself out over this when you should do what right." I was not happy at all
"Jen" I said as she stopped me.
"Let me finish. I totally understand the last yall have but baby you can't teach your daughters about love and forgiveness if you don't stand by it yourself. Yes she hurt you but your not the type of person to let someone just rot and suffer. You taught me how to have a heart and be kind to people no matter how they are to you. I want that for Los. Hue your the sweetest person I know so never let anything make you feel like your less than that. Let her see the type of woman you are today. How bad could it be. And it's just for a couple days. That's it" I listened as I started to think. I could hold a grudge and harbor those terrible memories and feelings from my past or I could show my daughters that their mother was a loving woman that they were use to. I was the number one example for them and hey maybe it would be good to have her see me as a woman, a wife and a mother.
"I hate when your right" I said exhaling. I had to do what was right.
"You still love me" I loved her dearly because she never told me what I wanted to hear she told me the naked truth. She was the type of friend to tell it like it is and I loved her for being so open with me. Sometimes I didn't think about all aspects of a situation but Jen was my right hand man. We were bonded for life.....

5 Days Later......
"Here baby" I said handing Haley her juice as I parked in the airport lot. I arranged for my grandmother to come and stay at my house so she can recover. It took a lot of thought but I decided too.
"Ma ma pwane" she said seeing al the planes go back and forth.
"That's right pretty girl. They fly way up in the sky." I said anxious to just get back home. A part of me wished she just changed her mind and didn't wanna come but I knew that wasn't going to happen. I looked at the people going in and out for 20 minutes. I was growing impatient until I saw a face I never could forget. She still looked exactly the same. I unstrapped my seat belt and got out the car. It was a woman with her as she sat in the wheelchair.
"Hi. I'm here to pick her up." I said to the woman as my grandmother looked at me like I was a ghost.
"Who the fuck are you" she said with her evil stare.
"I'm Hue grandma" I said as she looked me up and down.
"Hmmm you look way better than you use too" she said as I cracked a smile. The woman gave me her bags as she whispered to me.
"Good luck with her. Idk how you goin deal with her" she seemed relieved to be free of her. I could tell she was still trouble. She helped me put her in the front seat as she quickly left happily. I got in the front seat starting my car as it got quiet.
"Grandma this is my youngest daughter Haley. Haley this is mommy's gammy" I said as Haley got excited
"Ma ma fun" she said as laughed. She loved company.
"Damn how many kids you got. And you pregnant with another one." She said paying Haley no mind.
"I have 2 girls and this is me and my husbands third child. It's a boy" I said with my eyes on the road. The vibe was so tense.
"All your kids got the same daddy" she asked as I had to laugh
"Yes ma'am" I said giving her a short answer.
"Hmmm......I gotta meet the man who putting up with you." I didn't even answer her. "And where am I staying. I hope you don't got me in no crowded house. I don't need them damn kids running around all damn day. They should be disciplined." She went on and on as I finally got in my drive way. I was already fed up and the more she talked the more annoyed and irritated I got. Here I was doing her a favor and she was telling me what she didn't and did want. This was my house and I had to draw the line and fast. She was now coming in on my territory. I let Haley out her seat and let her go in the house with Jason.
"Mommy coming baby" I said getting back in the car shutting my door. I had to get this off my chest.
"We'll let me out this damn car. I don't wanna be in here all fucking day" she said as I turned and faced her.
"Okay look. I'm helping you out so you won't come in my house demanding shit. This is my children's home and they do as they please do don't tell me how to raise them. Your going to come in my house and be respectful and polite because you don't want to go to the mission or shelter Ms. Sims. I hope we're very clear on this" I spoke my peace and got out slamming my door. I went in the house as Jason looked at me crazy.
"Where your grandmother?" He said not seeing her come through the door.
"Still in the car" I said nonchalantly pouring me a glass of juice.
"How she gonna get inside" he asked confused.
"Let her figure it out. She got all that damn mouth. So let's see how far that get her" I said walking upstairs to my room. I was mad already. Jason just shook his head as he went out to get her. Why did I even do this....
