Chapter 13:I Been Making Plans

I finally made it to the table where his back was facing me so he didn't see me walk up before him. The woman looked at me as if I interrupting something. She was very attractive and looked to be a little older. I guess her looking at me caused him to do the same.
"Surprised" I said to him as he looked like he saw a ghost
"Baby what you doing here" he asked as he tried to touch my hand. I snatched it away quickly.
"I had to go the bank and who do I see from the window. Your ass. This sure dont look like you at home with no plans" I was pissed at this point
"It's not even like that babe. Calm down your are pregnant" he said I as I wanted slap him so bad.
"Clearly you not worried about me being pregnant cause your on a fuckin date" the woman looked confused and spoke up
"Miss you have the wrong idea" I turned my attention to her
"Was I talking to you" I said with my hand on my hip "I didn't think so"
"Hue chill. You really think I would be so damn stupid to be in a public place with the next bitch" he said as the woman grabbed her purse getting up
"I think I'll go now" she said to Jason
"Yeah that's a good idea" I said before he even got a chance to respond.
"You tripping man" he said as he paid the bill and walked out. I followed right behide him as he went to his car upset.
"I'm not even going argue with you. I'll see you at home" he said as he got in his car and drove off. I stood there in disbelief. How the hell was he mad when I'm the one who just caught him. I got in my car and headed home. I was tired but this conversation was far from over. I pulled into the drive way and saw his car was already there. I got out and opened my front door. I didn't see him anywhere downstairs so I walked upstairs and saw him in our bedroom.
"Jason" I yelled at him
"Quit yelling in right here" he said with an attitude
"Why the fuck you got an attitude. Did you forget what just happened" I said back to him sitting on the bed
"Aye I already told it wasn't what you thought. Drop that shit man" he said taking off clothes and going into the bathroom
"Drop it. So I catch my boyfriend on a date with a bitch and I'm the one who has to drop it. Are you serious" I walked inside the bathroom as he walked out.
"Look it wasn't a date. It was business" he said getting in bed under the covers.
"Do I look like a fucking clown Jason"
"Hue why the fuck would I go cheat on you huh. I never cheated on you and you think I would now especially with you being pregnant. I thought you trusted me." What he was saying made sense but idk if I could believe him just yet. I had been hurt so many times and I wasn't going to be no ones fool. Not again.
"Ok let's say you wasn't cheating. When since you do business outside the office" I asked with my arms folded
"Hue stop questioning me. I'm a grown ass man ok. Like I said it was business nothing else." He turned to on his side as he pulled the covers over his head.
"I'm pose to just shut up now I guess right" I said not even getting in bed
"No you pose to trust your man. You pose to know that I love you more than anything in this world and know I would never hurt you. You pose to believe me when I say I'm telling you the truth. Not question me and make me into something I'm not." I could hear the hurt in voice.
"Well I saw what I saw" I said as I got in bed. I turned off the light and laid down with my back facing him. We never go to bed mad at each other like this. I knew in my heart he would never hurt me but what was I suppose to think. I went to bed with a heavy heart.

The next I got up and Jason wasn't in bed. I washed my face and brushed my teeth and got back in bed. I needed to talk to someone. Someone who never sugar coated or lied to me.
"Hello" a sleepy Jen answered. No matter what time it was she always picked up.
"I need to talk girl" I said letting out a sigh
"What's up boo. What's wrong" she probably could hear it my voice
"Yesterday I caught Jason with some bitch at a restaurant. I walked passed and saw them thru the window."
"What did he say" she asked not believing it herself. She liked Jason and love the way he treated me. They became really cool.
"He said it was nothing just business but Jen how the hell is that business. Then he got mad when I said he was cheating. Like am I missing something" I asked hoping she could make sense of all this
"Hue that man adores you and worships the ground you walk on. If he tells you that it's nothing and in your heart you know he not that type then believe him. He hasn't shown you any reason not to trust him." She was right but I still felt like he was hiding something.
"I hope your right Jen. Cause I can't take another heart ache."
"Girl don't even think like that. Don't let old pain come and destroy what you have. Plus your pregnant with my niece or nephew so you don't need the stress"
"Your right" she made sense and I couldn't keep accusing him for something if I said I trusted him.
"Hue I gotta go Frank just got home but if you need me call me"
"Always. Thanks again. Love you" I said getting up to go downstairs.
"Love you too. Bye" she said as the phone call ended. I grabbed my robe and threw it on as I went down the steps
"Good morning" he said as he handed me some fruit and eggs without eye contact. I knew he was still hurt about last night
"Thanks" I said sitting down
"You need anything before I leave" he asked as he cleaned up the kitchen and drinking his coffee.
"You to tell me the truth" I said as I got up and walked over to him.
"Look Hue I'm not in the mood to argue with you. I already told you the truth. Take it or leave it" he said drained by the whole situation. He looked me dead in my eye and I could tell he wasn't lying
"Baby my heart broke yesterday when I saw you. That really hurt my feelings" I said as a tear came rolling down my face
"Beautiful you I know I hate when you cry" he said wiping away my tears "you know I would never hurt your feelings on purpose. I apologize for making you feel that way but baby I swear nothing happened. You the only woman I want. It's nobody out here that could ever come close to you or take your place. You have to believe me" he was so sincere and genuine "I love you and only you Hue. Your giving me my first child and I'm grateful to God that he sent you to me. I would never jeopardize us." I couldn't help but cry.
" I love you too baby" I said to him
"Do you trust me" he asked
"Yes I trust you. I promise I do" I really did.
"I trust you too. So let's act like we do okay. Nothing going every break what we got" he pulled me close and kissed my lips softly. I kissed him back as he held me. He broke the kiss as he picked up his stuff
"I'll be home later baby. Get some rest and don't be doing anything that might hurt my baby. I love you" he said as he walked to the door.
"Ok baby I love you too" I said as he walked out the door. I was happy that I could trust him and glad that was over with

"Ughh" I said as I tossed and turned in bed. It was 4am. I was now 6 and a half months pregnant and felt like A whale.
"Baby what's wrong" Jason said waking up. I had been miserable at night and nothing helped. We were having a girl and she was extremely active.
"I can't sleep and your daughter keeps kicking me. I can't get comfortable and when I do I gotta get up and use the bathroom" I said so frustrated. This little girl was giving me a run for my money.
"Maybe I could calm her down" he said as he made his way down to my stomach. "Hey angel" he said rubbing my huge stomach. As soon as he spoke she went crazy. She was already attentive to his touch and voice. As much as I loved that I needed my rest too. "Mommy needs you to calm down so she can get some sleep. So do daddy a favor and relax ok. I love you angel" he said as she instantly stop.
"That's a damn shame" I said as I got comfortable finally
"I got the same affect on you" he said as he laughed and wrapped his arms around me.
"Oh whatever" I said laying on my side and into him. I held his hands as we dosed off.

"Baby you ready" Jason yelled from downstairs.
"I'm coming don't rush me" we were going on a date and he insisted that I be ready at 9. Idk what was the rush but he was working my nerve
"Come on baby we can't be late" he yelled again.
"Jason Vince Thomas. I am coming damn" I had in a fitted black dressed exposing a little cleavage the dress stopped at my knee and showed off my stomach. It fit like a glove. I had on black heels nothing too tall. I straightened my hair that was down to my back and had on light make up. Just cause I was pregnant don't mean I couldn't be sexy. I grabbed my clutch and slowly walked downstairs.
"What I tell you about wearing heels" Jason said as I rolled my eyes.
"Helping me down the rest of these steps would be nice" I said as he came over and grabbed my hand
"You look sexy baby" he said kissing my cheek. He also had on all black and looked so sexy. Only thing that wasn't black was his watch and gold chain.
"Thanks baby. You look handsome too" I said blushing. After all this time he still made me feel special.
"Now let's go before we late" he said helping me outside and locking the door. We drove and arrived at the same restaurant we spent our first date at.
"I thought we was going to Prime" I said confused.
"No you must've forgot I said Lotus not Prime baby" he said as we walked to the door. I knew I wasn't tripping he sent me a text saying we were going to prime. "Oh well" I said as we walked in
"Mr. Thomas your table is ready" the hostess took us to the private area as we sat down.
"Why are we back here" I said as I took off my coat.
"I guess it was no room in the front" he said not looking at me. He kept looking around like he was waiting on something. He looked nervous
"Why do you keep looking around like you paranoid or something" I said starting to do the same thing myself.
"Who me" he said rubbing his palms together. He was damn near sweating
"Jason don't play with me. Who else I'm I talking to" I shook my head and looked at the menu paying him no mind. As I was looking at my menu I heard a voice speak. I looked up and saw the woman I saw him with last time and wanted to know what was going on.
"Ummm Jason what the hell is going on" I said looking back at her than him. She gave him a bag and whispered "you'll thank me later" to me as she walked off smiling. I was now so confused it wasn't funny.
"Ok jokes over. Talk" I said to him done with the games. All he did was get up and turn my chair around to face him.
"Hue you know I been in love with you since the day we laid eyes on each other right" he asked in a serious tone
"I know that baby but why are telling me this now." I said confused at the fact that he chose now to express that to me.
"Just listen. You my best friend. Whenever I get lonely I can talk to you. When I'm happy it's because of you. If I need advice I know I can rely on you to keep it 100 with me. You don't judge me or hold shit over my head. I'm still amazed that I got you and know I'm blessed. Your having my baby and o couldn't ask for anything else in the world." I was already an emotional wreck but he made it worse I held back my tears as he finished. I damn near fainted as I saw him get done one knee.
"Hue Lyn Jackson will you make me even happier and marry me" he said as he grabbed a box out the bag the woman handed him and revealed a 10 carat square diamond ring. It was amazing. Breath taking. He placed it on my finger as I sat there in shock. Did he just propose. Omg! And the ring!!! I was so caught up in my thoughts when I realized I didn't answer him.
"You goin answer me or do I have to keep my ass on this damn floor while all these people watch." At this point all eyes where on me.
"Yes baby I will marry you. Yes" I said as the whole restaurant clapped and cheered. He got up and kissed me hugging me tight. Then it hit me it all made sense.
"So that's who she was" I said to him as he sat back in his car
"Who Maya" he said reading my mind "She a jeweler one of my boys introduced me too. I had the ring customer made so that's why we were here that day you saw us. I came here to set everything up cause I wanted this to be the place. So she met me here" I felt so stupid cause the whole time I was thinking the worst he was doing something for me.
"I'm sorry baby" I said as I apologized
"It's good beautiful. That's why you gotta trust me"
"I do" I said admiring my new best friend. My huge ring.
We ate and thanked all the staff for making our night special. Jason had them make a special meal and a band played while we ate. We got home and I was exhausted.
"Somebody tired" Jason said as he took my shoes and dress off.
"Your daughter wears me out" I said rubbing my stomach as she kicked. He grabbed one of his shirts and placed it over my head so I could wear it to sleep as I always did lately.
"She goin be a hand full just like her mother" he said laughing as hit pushed his shoulder as I got into bed covering myself
"Whatever. Come to bed baby" I said to him as he undressed and climbed in with me.
"Thank you so much. I really enjoyed my night and I'm in love with my ring" I said never wanting to take it off
"I'm glad you did. You goin be my wife and you deserve it" he said caressing my stomach in a circular motion. I started to dose off as I got comfortable
"Good night baby. I love you" I said yawning closing my eyes.
"Good night beautiful" was the last thing I heard as I went fast asleep.........
